My 1/8 Mile times
Just curious what y'all think...
I took my rex out to the drag strip. I still have the same setup (d16a6, RHb5 7psi, starion FM, TurboEdit) on street tires. This was only the 1/8 mile track, but it shows what I can expect in the 1/4. I ran a total of five times.
My reaction time was about .515 every time but my 60' was like 2.4... terrible traction in 1st and 2nd, but I'm running 9.3 all the way up to 9.6 and they are all over 80mph. I raced against one civic with GSR motor, T3/T4 turbo AND nitrous... he was hitting 8 flat with nitrous, but without he was running 8.8 but we finished at exactly the same speed. He had slicks, so that explains it. So this tells me that with slicks, I should be in the 8.8 or lower range if I crank up the boost (this was done at 7 psi max).. I'm happy with my speeds to say the least.
What 1/4 mile should I be looking at here?
