dave matthews band! all the way. vertical horizon-live stages, howie day, o.a.r., jay-z unplugged, pretty much anything live and recorded well to blare through the system. oh...and my buddy mike's band 33 k street...check em out at 33kst.com i hope they get signed soon!

i cant go without rap or should i say hip hop underground! i dont like that jay z / dmx ---- but wu tang, nas, and biggie are definately on top for commercial rap and underground...well i shouldnt even name em cuz you probably wont know any of them anyways :P Dont get me wrong though....i love rock also! nirvana, korn, metallica, staind, godsmack, and many many more are bad ***!!! i just cant resist the sound of the guitar and drums these guys can make! rap and rock are top dogs!! everything else just sucks on a fat one!

I listen to a lot of ska, mainly older local New England bands. Past couple of days I've been listening to this band "Supreme Beings of leisure." Music in a similar vein would be Soul Coughing mixed with FSOL.
Downset is some hot streetcore, local band Concrete christiona streetcore. I saw the underground hip-hop group atmosphere in providence this month, they did an all turntable cover of RATM's "Killing in the name of," broke my nose in the pit.
Common Rider is some sweet emo/punk/ska-riffs arangment, former members of OpIvy.
Not a huge emo/screamo/indie fan, I didn't really grow up on guitar rock, so I lack a certain musical range there.
Rap Music. For as many years as I've listened to it, I've pretty much turned my back on it, it's failing to innovate, and it's parasitic effect on black culture, and it's wholesale embrace by the elements of white-culture that I hate.... soured me.
