Mushroom season
 

Alright so there is a bunch of musrooms growing around where i live and i pretty much wiped out an area of all the blue ringers i could find. So the question i have is i found some that have a 3-4 inch stem and a bulb shaped cap that is brown and has split layered lines that seperate every few centimeters and i cant find out what they are. Any help would be great. Also im not taking them im making bank selling them to other people.

Ok i can see the manslaughter point but i wasnt intending on selling this type that i didnt know what it was i was just trying to figure out what it was. And to correct you cubensis grow like weeds in an old farm land that has lots of nutrients in the soil do to the cow ---- that was left beind as well as blue ringers grow just as easy.

ShrOOms DO in fact grow in the wild. (mainly in cow pastures) You can't just pick mushrooms from a park in your local neighborhood though. You need to make sure you know what you are selling before you get someone seriously sick.

the fact is. your going out and picking wild mushrooms that you don't know wtf they are, and you want to sell them to ppl. but your right, its their decision if they want to take them, just make sure you tell them you found em behind a barn down the road and see if they still want em.

Shrooms grow pretty much all over the US...as long as there is a wet season and it's not too cold then they do great

Ok i sold them to 3 different people that i know and they asked me if i could find some because in their initial searches they didnt come across any also if they didnt have me get em they would have found else that could get them.

Well, atleast I can help.

You might have some luck figuring out what species they are by getting a picture and posting it up on Shroomerys hunting forum(http://www.shroomery.org/forums/post...0/Board/Forum3).
Also, you might find some mycology books at the library; though since you're not a professional it's still not a great idea, a lot of species have very subtle differences that an amatuer cannot recognize.

Yeah those sites are OK for identifiying stuff...but still......they aren't that great. Many kids have died eating shrooms picked from the wild....many times they are very similar looking and sometimes mixed in with the psychoactive ones if they have some kind of symbiotic relationship.

If you are so desperate for shrooms, grow them in a controlled environment. It's easy as hell, the shrooms will be much more potent, and you'll yield more too.

Ya, I just wanted to refer him to something a little more appropriate than a automotive forum.

I second the fact that it's extremely easy to do it yourself, there really is no reason to go picking random mushrooms without the knowledge to keep yourself from ingesting something that can put you in the hospital. Just do some research and you'll find there are much better ways of going about this.
