Muchies in SoCal (LA area) *LET'S ADD TO IT AND PUT UP 24HR JOINTS*
thanks for the suggestions. I just ended up going to Long Beach.
Let's expand this thread and add some 24hr spots. But do keep the options coming, it'd be good for future references, whether it be myself or another member. |

And in order for them to be considered to be a good eatin' place they gotta have good drinks (i.e. thai iced tea, grass jelly, etc.) Holla. Would like to know by tomorrow. The places I usually eat at are in Long Beach, and to be honest I really don't feel like rollin' through long beach more than I have to right now.

Hah, sounds like Murdoc going with some asian girl or sonethin ^-^ :P
Theres this one place that i am pretty sure any asian/black/white/mexican will like it, it`s call the BANANA BAY take the 60 fwy (from my direction i am not too sure from Irvine) exit Fullurton, stay right at the exit, make a right on COLIMA, then make a left on the very first parking lot. expect to wait about 20 minutes at dinner time coz its always crowed. Banana Bay Restaurant (626) 839-5511 18230 Colima Rd Rowland Heights, CA 91748 They serve some tasty Thai food, from soda to any kinda liquor/cocktail. (South sea Fry rice is a must try) Doesn`t cost too much either. After that you can keep on going down Colima, make a right after McDonald and there it is the SpeedZone ^-^ Or heck, take her to cheese cake factory or Yard house, theres whole bunch of really really nice (and costly $$$ :X ) Italian/ French Resturant by Pasadena Old town, yum...... :y |
Re: Muchies in SoCal (LA area) ATTN: Donald125 ,lol
BJs is the ----. Good beer, good food, but not gook food.
There is a chain called Maki Yaki that is good if you like Japanese. It's more of a fast food Japanese, but better than most sit downs. |
Re: Muchies in SoCal (LA area) ATTN: Donald125 ,lol
I forgot the name of that place but it right by Hollwood up in a hill, where all the celebrities goes, very good mood and good food/drink BUT last time i went, the bill was 3 grand + to fill up like 15 people :X

Donald you the man, but Does the Banana Bay have thai tea, soy milk, grass jelly etc, etc? I gotta grub at a spot that's got the good asian dranks too. Oh and the resturant you are thinking of that expensive and on a hill is Yamishiro or some ---- like that right? I have like 30 of the box of matches they give out. I'd go there tomorrow, but I'm not looking to impress. Just the basics and not in Long Beach and HAS to have the asian drinks :y
So ---- the BJs, cheesecake factory, yardhouse. I got the rich white boy resturant on lock already. I just need some good asian eating with REAL asian food..... away from long beach :P

Grass jelly From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Jump to: navigation, search Grass Jelly with pieces of mango Enlarge Grass Jelly with pieces of mango Grass jelly (Chinese: 涼粉 liáng fěn or 燒仙草 shāo xiān cǎo; Minnan (Hokkien): 仙草 sian-chháu; Malay: cincau) is a type of food with a jelly-like consistency that is used in China and Southeast Asia in drinks and desserts. It is sold in cans or packets in Asian supermarkets. Can of grass jelly drink manufactured in Taiwan but sold internationally. Enlarge Can of grass jelly drink manufactured in Taiwan but sold internationally. Grass jelly is made from boiling grasses in the mint family (specifically Mesona chinensis) with potassium carbonate, and then cooling the liquid down to a jelly-like consistency. This jelly can then be mixed with syrup to produce a drink thought to have cooling (yin) properties. This has a slight iodine flavour and looks like a clear, deep brown liquid with strands or cubes of translucent blackish jelly in it. It can also be mixed with soy milk to produce a milky white liquid with black strands in it, a drink known as Michael Jackson in Southeast Asia (see, for example [1]). Grass jelly is also mixed in various kinds of South-East Asian desserts such as ice kachang and chendol. |
Re: Muchies in SoCal (LA area) ATTN: Donald125 ,lol

it actually doesn`t really taste like anything. Put it in a bowl, fridge it, crush it in to pieces then POUR sugar on it and mix it up... pretty tasty ^-^ |

Let's add to this. List up your 24hr SoCal munchies stops. I'm talking sit down spots, not a del taco or McDonalds. I'm about to go to pho in westminster, but that ---- gets boring after a while. This chick just needs to hurry up and pick me up, she's paying and driving, today just got better.
