ok ive seen the pic on here awhile back of a crx with a front mount intercooler and there was alot of stuff cut off? i forgot how u made it work so i was just wonderin if u had the pics still? thanks

 

there was some cutting. i had to cut out metal on the right and left of the radiator to get the charge pipes to go around the radiator. and had to cut the radiator core support bar. that was about it.
btw this was in a 88 HF with a starion intercooler...

 

You will have to cut the front bumper core support



(the starion cooler sits pretty high)



if your end tanks are repositioned, you will need to cut out the side section



Basically, on any intercooler you install, you will need to first take your bumper off and visualize how everything is going to be routed and mounted. Sometimes when using large IC's you will need to cut alot of ----.

my intercooler has no brackets right now, just held up by the piping and bumper and it doesnt move whatso ever even with the bumper off...so i dont bother on making any..hehe
