Its almost as if the CCA just kinda falls into place tucked right up underneath the main support. [Ace Ventura] Like a Ga-love!! [/Ace Ventura] ;D

I noticed that. On the EG's they seem to belong there. It's like Honda new what was going to be done. I have renamed the bumper support, the "Intercooler support beam". :)

On an EF it isn't as perfect though. Some serious hacking of the bumper is involved, but you know it's worth it. 8)

did you also have to notch the front corners of your mounting tabs? i just notched mine with a dremel and it fell in like it belonged there.

I haven't notched them yet, but I plan on it. It doesn't really make a huge difference, but it will look a little nice when the bumper is off. No big deal, though. I did find it a little tighter when I was putting the bumper back on, like where it mounts to the fenders behind the headlights.

The intercooler looks great!! To fit mine in.. i took the easy way out... i had a 9 inch metal grinder... ya, it melted the crap out of it, but it is my bad bumper anyway, so i wasn't to worried about it. I think any civic in general looks that much better with a nice fmic on it :)

I used the softest stainless wire wheel on a cordless to clean it up.Then I used 220grit,320,400(wet sand),600(wet sand),mediun steel wool and then fine steel wool. That gets it Ready for Mothers Aluminum polish on a bufing wheeel on the end of a cordless drill.Get your sunglases and wipe the mothers polish off.BLING,BLING!!

Its not as hard as it sounds. It took me 1/2 hour to do it.Well worth it IMO.
