Most embarrassing "i got killed" stories
Just wondering who will admit to the most embarrassing loss to the most unexpected car...
Mine was about 5 yrs ago, where i live the honda phenom had not even began yet....i was rollin in a 86 5.0 gt, 373,s king cobra clutch, long tubes, 2 chambers,pulleys, frame connected...teh car worked well and went 13.90's on radials, i got rolled up on by a 90-91 hatch, baby blue, and rusted to ----, i mean a complete pail, big fart can on teh back, the kid driving looked about 12. He starts reving on me, i kinda chuckle, light goes green, i leave on him and through teh intersection im actually thinking of lifting cause this is just silly, when woosh, teh little fuker goes screaming by, by the time i got to third gear he was 5 lenghts on me and i looked like a retard....two weeks later the same p.o.s ruted out hulk is at the track....... 12.90's ...on fukin radials.... gsr swap and H.M.T.....I got owned by a 17 yr old kid with brutal acne that drove a rusted hatch his mom gave him....the moral of the story is??? I suck... |

haha nice one. when i have a naive 18 year old, i drove a 91 3000GT SL and thought it was the ---- and really didnt know much about cars. well i saw a neon and decided to be an -------, we took off, then all i saw was tail lights...we pull over down the road after, ------ srt-4, and at that time i think it was the 1st year of their release...

When I had my old 97 Ex coupe, riding with friends and my girl, some dude in a V6 caravan wanted to mess around. I had intake exhaust and altezzas, so of course I could beat him. Well no, my car was always slow as hell, and I had 5 people in the car. It was funny later on.

I had a 92 Prelude Turbo (Base model, F22) with a piece of ---- FMU.
There was this ricer kid with a 4th gen Prelude also, Automatic Si We were at the track, and I ran way too rich and the car all but shut off halfway down the track. The kid, of course, had to brag to all his friends that he "beat a turbo prelude". He told everyone, everywhere he went. Pissed me off so bad. :7 |

my 98 prelude i thought was so fast cuz it had body kit intake and exhaust lol...and madd tyte jdm vtak. but anyways a talon pulls up next to me as i'm cruisin at like 40...so i down shift and floor it and he just pulls like i slammed on the brakes...later i find out its a tsi with alot of upgrades lol

Another one I just remember that I tried to forget.
This is the first night I go racing in the WRX after the upgrades. I meet with a few friends, and they tell me they have a turbo MR2 that wants to run. They say the car runs high 13's. I'm like, well I ran high 13's before the upgrades so bring it. Well the car gets there, is black and beautiful, the door opens, and a beautiful 21 year old girls steps out. I'm like ----, she's hot, and is the driver of the car. This is kinda cool, a girl with a fast car that likes racing. But I don't care I already said yes so lets go. When we launched I bogged the hell out of my launch and she is in front of me, not good I'm supposed to have the AWD advantage, I had to wait for the damn turbo to spool up again. Second gear and pulling closer, third gear I'm at her front fender, we are already doing about 90, 4th gear she's in front by a bumper when I shift, Under normal track, 1/4 mile conditions, we are done there, and she wins by a bumper, but she kept going, so I keep going, I pass her by half a car and we are now doing 130, that's when another car is coming the other way, on her side, so I hit the brakes so she can get in front of me safely. Top speed acceleration I won, but 1/4 mile time, she did. Well all the people watching were talking crap, and I still hear about it sometimes. :P |

I was 17 and had a 84 RX7 GSL-SE had the 135hp 13B not alot done just exhaust and air can, but at the time it seamed fast but was probably a high to mid 15 second car.I roll up beside a 90's Jeep YJ that said Renegade and had some odd ground effects ---- on it.So he starts revving it and I'm thinking okay ill killl this fool and there was a car load of my friends behind me so I thought I would show them how fast my ---- was.Light goes green and he jumps two car lengths on me and never looks back, ended up beating me by a few car lengths.I too this day have no idea what was done to the Jeep but it went pretty good and my friends were making fun of me for a while.

getting beat by a girl blows sometimes, still in my stang, i go to our local track with my uncle and sister and her boyfriend, uncle drives a 89 vette, on the street i have pulled his car many many times, so me thinks at the track with some bite im gonna walk all over it and look like a hero, stang beats vette, wins adoration of gearhead girls at track, goes home gets laid and all is good, nope, instead we line up, go green, i spin like a fukin bear, and the vette leaves on me hard, and just couldnt get to it by the end, then we roll down the return road, all my buddies from work are there laughing cause my uncles vette just handed me my ass, and yep, my sister was driving it....i knew she was driving but hoped no one else did, she pulled right up beside us in the pits and jumped out lauging at me....i hear about that every fukin day from friends and my father...

Well all the people watching were talking crap, and I still hear about it sometimes. :P two years back when i thought i was the sweetest kid in town for having rims on another wise stock civic ex, i pulled up nest to a grand prix. it was some older lady inside and she looked at me and gave wme a nasty look. so being the ------- that i am, i bounce it off the rev limiter and burnout and i have like 2 cars on her and she must of floored ti and she flew passed me and spiked the brake once she got in front of me. i almost rearended her. at the next stop light i figured id ---- with her. so i open my car dar and act liek im going to get out and she takes off through the innersection. a cop sees her a nabs her. haha, bitch. even the she got me, i had the last laugh.mwhahahaha |

racing some girl who thinks shes the ---- in her gti so i turned the boost up to like 14 psi on an a6, so i launch in first hten the car just falls flat on its face and shde pulls off and talks a whole bunch of ----. i blew a home depot coupler :(

my buddy has a 02 wrx and we put an up pipe, downpipe and fuel management on that bitch...it was fast.
so he wanted to race this mustang...i dont know much about mustangs but he said it was a steeda. so i was like....ok never heard of it, its prolly v6, slow as ---- with the cobra rims. well it wasnt. haha....my buddys car prolly runs low 13s and he got CRUSHED by the steeda. i am talking like 8 cars within like 2 seconds. i later talked to the guy and he said he was running 11s.....thank god it was only for $5 now i know what a steeda is....I WANT ONE! :y by the way...in 2nd gear his back end came out and almost hit him :S never again will we race a steeda! |

well my first story was with my stock hatch and some old lady in a camery v6 i cut her off down the road so we are floating down the road at like 55 60 and then we get to a light and shes laughin and i just rev at her( with no muffler mind you ) and the light turns green we punch it she spins them and bounced on me it was funny.
next one sucks ive only told two people about this. and now you guys but i was leaving my job and i see my boy in a newish rental neon and he was like were bout to hop on the concetor(local race spot. little streach of highway nice for 1/4 -full mile) lets run it to the brindge(1mi) im like lets do so i beep beep beep it and i jump ahead of him and keep gaining distance between us. get it in to 4th gear and its a cvic dx so my 5th is pointless for exeleration so im just winding it out and all of a sudden he wized past me at like 100 and then i hit redline in 4th at 118 and he was still ahead of me. it sucked got beat by a stock neon and it was an auto. |

About 5 years ago at the street races in lancaster in so cal. Me bein me was gonna show off a little so I found the large group of people at the start and rolled by and dropped the clutch hard. 90 hatch/sohc vtec swap/65 shot and a fully built top end car ran 13.20's at LACr all day long. Well missed 3 rd 3 times very bad and when I drove back people were just pointing and lauging. Good times

about a week into having a B18C1 in my hatch, I was still learning how to drive it, and was still learning to drive too (had liscence for under a year)
i see a ------ gold STI next to me on the freeway, it almost like he spotted me and wanted my blood. he comes up next to me and stays with me, so i figure what the hell, i let off the gas in 5th gear to put some distance between us and the people in front of us. he stays with me. slow down to about 20mph, slam it into 2nd (coulda gone to 1st, but wasn't even used to a 8K redline lol) and floor it, he stays with me for about a second then i hear the BOV and i think "wtf?", then i hear the turbo spoolin as he pulls away like I wasn't even moving :S i got owned :3 |

I had a fully built datsun 510 race car, cage, dual sidedrafts, huge comp, cam, slicks suspension, fiberglass hood doors the works, ran on av. gas no head lights just brake lights, no charging system like I said it was a road race car. I pulled up beside a caravan full of kids and two parents. Not that my car was set up for quarter mile but I got smoked by a turbo caravan not at one light but two in a row and everyone was laughing so hard in the van. :P

I was just a passenger for this one, happened about 5 years ago. My bro and I were rollin' in his '94 mustang GT, pretty hot car, not a lot done to it, but one of those factory freaks ya know? just plain fast.... must have been built on a wed.
anyway it's late at night, streets pretty deserted and we're sitting at a stop light and this '78 firebird pulls up next to us, gives us a little rev, sounds decent but we're like "whoopdidoo basil..." anyway light turns green and my brother, who is by far the best driver I know, goes throught the first two gears, but I'm not paying attention, all I can hear is this freaking beast of a motor owning us. He walked us like we were standing still- I've never been beaten that soundly in my life. We pulled into a gas station after him and found out he was running a built 440 with some built auto tranny. Definitely one of the best sounding motors I've ever heard, then and since.... |

I got passed by a huge Ford turbo diesel on a back road, I wasn't going WOT but he freaking blew by me, on a freaking back road. At like 80... I was like, WTF?!?! :S

one night i was on my way home from work and i see like an old 91 hatch zoom by me.......he gets to the red light and i pull up next to him and with my tight bling bling 99 front end conversion on my otherwise stock d16z6 eg i thought i'd own him with my vtak especially since i saw that he had a passenger with him too. I thought to myself....foolish white boys, ur about to get owned by rice-power. So he revs i rev and he asks me what i have under the hood.....i tell him stock and he just laughs and rolls up his window. The light turns green and i'm halfway into the intersection and he's like aaaaaaaallllll the way down halfway to the next intersection and i'm like wtf pwnd. i roll up to him tail between legs and he said he has a fully built b20 that he built himself.

my worst was when i had my 93 accord, i was driving to my dads on the highway and i saw this guy in a for f250 turbo diesel with a trailer full of toys plus the bed is full, so i go to pass him at like 70 and he jumped on it, i couldnt pass the fucker for the life of me, and when we got to the light he was laughing at me. i fel like an ass. oih yeah the accord was stock except a cheap ebay air intake. :S

mine was when i first got my turbo setup on and going, about 4 months ago. my hatch is pretty plain, no bodykit, stock turn signals, ls mesh wheels, lowerd, thast it. I see some riced out eg coupe coming the opposit way, so i blow off on him. abou t a mile down the road, i look inmy miror and here is that eg coupe.. im thinking to myself what a ------ idiot.....im cruisin in 5th and kinda press the gas, he downshifts and takes off. i was like wtf, he hit the brakes and here we go, im thining im gunna own this fucker cuz i got a turbo gsr.........downshift and he ------ takes off a car length....then 2.....i had some shitty ass homedepot boost controller that jumped to 10psi, then fell off to 4si(wastegate spring) and a tiny ass 42/48 turblo on a shitty basemap. we slow down and ask him what hes got done, b20vtec.....i say nice its quick as ----....see the guy the next night and start talkig to him i have a d-series.org sticker on my car..he thoght i had a d in my ----, and i tell him i have a gsr and he kinda giggles to my face. all i have to say is that fucker was quick, id own him now since i upgraded turbos and actualy got my ---- tuned, and with a steady boost

mine was also to a turbo caravan. i was in a BMW 318. we both turn left from an off ramp and my lane turns into a mall and his keeps going straight. i need to go straight. i figure im in a bimmer and this is one of those old lunch box looking oil burners. i get on it in 2nd gear at about 30mph and he does too. by 60mph his rear bumper is a tmy front so i let off and see "turbo van" on the back. i couldnt believe it. then i read a few days later that carol chelby set up a few of those vans with turbos.

I'm out cruising one night about 4 years ago in my 95 eclipse GS with i/h/e/rims/altezzas/green tint/green underbodies/green strobes in the clear part of the altezzas/green strobes in the headlights/green interior neon under the dash/green light up pedals/HUGE stereo (4 audiobahn 10's)/fat ex-girlfriend and I'm sitting at a red light, a white integra pulls up next to me (I'm still in my "DSM'S RULE HONDA'S SUCK SO I WON'T LEARN ANYTHING ABOUT THEM" stage) and he starts stomping on it and letting me know that he too has a fart can. Light turns green, as I am finally getting through the intersection I am looking at the little Type R badge on his ass end. By the time I hit 70 he was already slowing down and turning at the next light. Yep, turned out to be a fully built, turboed ITR. I suck at life.

like 2 or 3 years ago rockin my m4d jdm d15b vtack with a cx tranny . i was cruisin with three homies to another city to go to the street races. so im on the highway and get to this light. and theres a toyota avalon at the light. light turns green he takes off and i cant catch up for my life :'( . get to the next light a few miles away and i meet up with them again. and he walks me again hahaha. funniest ---- ever. and on the way home i walked by a friends auto accord. good times :y

My first car was a 89 ford tempo 2 door. It was pimp, I liked to race old school 4 cyl. mustangs cuz than i could say i beat a mustang even though they had the same displacement engine in them. But ya, this one time i tried to race my buddies POS rusted mid 80's honda accord. I thought i could take him, but since i was young and sucked at driving i "missed" 3rd gear (i.e. let go of the clutch b4 i put it in gear) and I screwed up the tranny. Needless to say i lost and i got harrassed about my flippin sweet driving skillz

This is a story my buddy told me, he was testing out his new r6 down on the west valley highway and he decided to open it up. So he was cooking at about 140 when out of no where an old school 80's style 4 door volvo turbo goes flying past him, rusted panels and all. He said it was one of those "WTF!?!" kind of moments. The guy was long gone so he was never able to find out what made the car so fast.

i have two stories
i was at a stop light with my civic - i/h/e and that was it. Two smoking hot chicks pull up next to me in a grand prix, four door. I looked over at the car and then at the girls and I was like, 'holy ----'. The light turns green and she just punches it. I was wondering where they went until i realized the light turned. So i am trying to play catch up while, in my lane there is a small road construction (with a man hole), So I have to slow and swerve. I couldn't catch them. My big break of trying to get with two girls got screwed.. :( On another time I saw a BMW, I wish I could remember the model I think it was a 3.. something it had four people in it and I had my friend (with the same i/h/e) mods and this bmw tries to race me so I try.. He had four people and still just walked me.. I think with that race, and also getting beat by a cavalier, ssei, and mustang cobra it was time for me to put the turbo on.. |
