More Hyundai ----
Ya'll remeber my thread about some harsh ------- clunking from the drivers side of my hyundai , thought it was the CV joint, so I replaced it today, hop in and take off was fine for a few seconds then started again ... Its a very loud clunk and the car stutters hard when it happens. I'm pretty sure these have some sort of chintzy limited slip in the trans mission, any tranny guys think that maybe the lsd is fucked or my trans is toast? It does it in all gears but it shifts fine and moves....

Does it go away when the car warms up? Because my bro just bought an sir swap for his car and it does the same thing but goes away when the car warms up. Not sure what his problem is but thought it was the CV joint too but might not be.

Re: More Hyundai ----
if it makes the noise in a turn then it could be the diff. but if it makes the noise when driving straight then most liely its something else. maybe you should check all of your tie rods and ball joints. its free to check it

Re: More Hyundai ----
On a Honda, tranny brought to me it would be about $200.......if it's not junk already.
Last one I only saved 3-4-5 gearsets, thru out a 4.25 FD. I was afraid the extra wear on the pinion and ring gear would have weaken it, so tossed the ---- out
Hyundai = just go get another......they are cheaper than Hondas
