Are you drunk, heavy power out of the box. 230 TURBO HP is hardly much of anything. I've done swaps on MK3's and they are by far the SHITTIEST car ever. From the composite headgasket to the 3 hrs spark plug job. The car smacks of poor engineering and low tech. Also, the guy who owns the car, my buddy dave thinks the world of it, but it seems when my del sol was running an NA LS VTEC I still kicked his ***, yeah I had my stereo in as well.

The 7M is a crappy engine, and that supra is an even crappier design. About the later model, sure the 2j in the mark 4 is a great powerplant, but the fastest supra track time in japan was with a 4sgte swap. Maybe the 9 gajillion pound iron block (the lexus 4300cc engine is actually lighter) won't let the 80 gajillion pound car handle so well. Toyota sucks ***, the only three cars I'd want would be a rally celica GT4, MR-S boosted (MR2's are just butt fucked ugly, oooh pop up lights!!!), soarer/sc300.

Yeah I know the soarer is pretty close to a supra, but IMO it's a nice luxury tourer not a sports car.

Anyone who thinks that a MK3 is anything but a bloated piece of ---- not even worth the metal used to make it is trying to live off the MK4 STUPRA glory. Just ask them how many headgaskets they have blown.

yeah no ----, The supras have so many problems I could fill a ------- report on those hurt sack cars

-too heavy
-the 5 speed sucks (the auto is faster then it, lik wtf)
-not enough power
-head gaskets blew from the factory
-hard as hell to change the spark plugs
-turbo shafts are weak
-rear springs get fucked up over time so the front end stick up in the air..

Who works on the car. You or the chick? I could care less what some chick has to think about it? You could shove a bov thingy in your tailpipe to make the "phooosh" sound and tell them it's turbo'd and they wouldn't know the difference. Go get some lambo doors and make em dripping wet over your car. I'd rock a AE86 over any supra in a heartbeat. Throw a set of old reverse mesh ssr rims and I'm be in heaven. 4cyl 4evr!!

call me the odd man out but I always loved the MK3...if done right it can look nice. and plus for its time frame, it was pretty fast. the only thing that held me back was the HG, which in reality would've have been no big deal to replace but a bother none the less. one of the shops nearby has a 800hp+ Mk3...man that focker is nice, tranny breaks every weekend though, its auto.

i saw a turbo mk3 supra the other day on the street it was white with newer supra wheels and it was dropped with a fat muffler-it looked way clean and wide too.
