Was your oil feed line not long enough?

Re: mini-me turbo set up

no we couldn't find a 45 degree elbow that would go into the turbo so we used the stock oil line and connected it to a brake line for semi air brakes :y ..... then just screwed the fitting into the brake line then the oil line into that fitting ... works good no leaks ...

god damn is that an hmt setup if i ever seen one lol. some of those connectors are gonna blow out for sure so be prepared to replace them, especially the one straight off the turbo. and that poor bov lol, couldn't get a flange off dsmtrader or sumthin? you jb welded the whole bov to that pipe lol. good ---- haha

this took us about five hours total work.. mostly becouse the oil sending unit broke when taking it off and the threads just stayed in the block so it was a bitch to tap out... last night we were actually drunk and unplugged the vacuum line to the waste gate just to see what the turbo could hold... well we hit 12 psi i let off and it stopped making boost... sure enough blew a coupler right off ...lol.. at 6 psi we have had no trouble with them .. and yes this is a true hmt setup consisting of just spare ---- laying around ..and yes this is the turbo i bought for 60 bucks .. total our buddy spent around 400 buying stuff from us .... the couplers are from lowes and the ic piping is fence post ...HMT MIDWEST STYLE
