Ok heres the story....

My mom and her b/f got a raccoon a few weeks ago. Brought him home and we started to tame him. He started being cool, but one day he bit them. He also bit me, but never broke the skin, but imma big nailbiter so Im pretty sure I was biting on my fingers that day. So last night Im playing some warcraft 3, and I feel sick outa nowhere.... I yuked all up in my bathtub, then again a bit later on, and ive been sore ever since. So I may be getting rabies vaccine today If the doctor calls back and says I must......


WTF the ------- Rabies man..... Those shots hurt like a bitch lol.
Just thought Id share my interesting story of the week.

LOL yeah im hillbilly. I live in NC lol so that makes me big country. And yes alot of peeps keep them as pets. Its actually not that uncommon, maybe for you northern fucks, but even in Cali we had one.

My aunt patty fed a Raccoon back at their old house, he'd come up to the door outside and they'd feed him everyday, and he'd just kinda hang out.. never touched him though.

LoL The whole reason they had it was because when he was younger he had 15 of them. They are cute though, im not gunna lie. I have my own pets btw, cat fish and a rat. my rats the best, i guess he what... a poor mans hamster? sure rats are better than any other small pet you can get. lol. i just read this entire thread. and i realized no one told him what he should really do.

you should take that coon to a vet. and get it tested. find out if it has rabies or not.

your lucky enough to have the animal that bit you. my friend was bitten by a black squirell once. and we had to run it down. and trap it. and take it to the doctor. otherwise they would have given him the rabies shot weather he wanted to or not.

so take it to the vet. get it tested. find out if it has rabies or not. and tell us whatsup.

They had already taken him to the animal control. He had rabies, so they got their shots, and since I got sick last night, my mom freaked and sent me to the hospital today. I got 9 shots otal, including my tetnus.

dude. my freind got something called hrig i dont remember what it stood for... and he just got the injection in his foot where he was bitten.

then he went back 4 days later for a booster shot.

i was just asking. cause not everyone gets in in the stomach.

I tamed a coon once. With a 30-06. All we found was part of the tail.
