It will take 5 mins to sand the spots needed :y

The excitement of having this over a 200K 1.5 will make that sanding seem like nothing

that turbo is going to add maybe 35hp to your current power levels. get a 60/63 if you want something worth it on a b-series with a power goal

I have a Z6 belt that's "used" but looks brand new you can have for cost of shipping it where ever you are, from Orlando.

mexi-chrome

The cheap chrome colored plastic strips that clip onto the edge of stuff. It usually comes in large rolls and is cut to size. Mexicans use it to PIMP out their ride.
Pedro - "Hey look, Sancho put some mexi-chrome around his car doors."

Armando - "Oh yea, that looks great with the mexi-chrome he put on the bumper."

It doesn't matter which way you put them in a D block, it works the same both ways.

89shithatch 01-31-2009 07:13 PM

Re: Mexi chrome Vitara motor

people have made good power with them facing both ways. but considering piston pin offset it makes more sense to face them towards the flywheel. the people that say it does not matter have already put them the wrong way.

After reading this post I decided to do some searching and this is what I came up with.
Vitara pistons should face the flywheel in a Honda motor, because the motors have the timing belt on the opposite side.
Which means if both motors where sitting next to each other with the exhaust side facing you.
VITARA T belt <-- left
Honda T belt --> rightThe pistons will work both ways this is proven, but I believe this is the correct way to install the piston for maximum performance.
If anyone has any Info as to why they think Im wrong please do not hesitate to make your case known.
Post factual information, Not the usual well this is what my local autozone guy told me.

Pulled from a vitara workshop manual.
