Right now I'm at $178 with the stimulator. I'm not getting the relay board cause its too bulky for my application. I'm also ordering the baller wire loom: https://www.wirecare.com/wc_product_...TN&prodline=ES I figure I'll have about &600 to $700 in my entire EFI kit which includes the individual throttle bodies, ECU, rewound stator, battery, wiring harness and adjustable timing plate

I'm trying to make my Yamaha Banshee street legal. 2-stroke fuel injected turbo street legal banshee will own everything and everyone. Its going to be ------- badass if I pull it off, which as of right now it looks very likely that it will happen

I'm using this system on a few cars. Turbocharged 1.6L Suzuki with 8 injectors, 400 Small block Chevy V8 with port injection and no turbo yet, and a 3.8 Ford V6
A guy I know is using it on his 16v Saab 900 turbo.
With live mapping and datalogging, it is a lot easier to work with than chip tuning. You can even autotune the fuel maps with EGO feedback.

this is my 3rd year running the MegaSquirt in my Toyota, it's only v1 but I'll never need anything more. It's modified to do spark, which is super easy BTW, and I believe the DIY-autotune guy sells them premodded for timing at no extra charge. If your car is already EFI, it should be able utilize most of your stock sensors, the only sensor I needed was an air temp sensor cause my car had the sensor located in the Air Fuel Meter which I removed.

v1 is also upgradeable to near ultra specs with the MS v2 addon card, everything I think but a wideband controller, and it's not the size of a deck of cards like the ultra is supposed to be. V2 is simply a plug in module to a V1.

...but, a v1 with a standalone wideband is all I'll ever need. With the spark mod you can run new firmware which supports 12x12 timing and fuel maps, and 8x8 AFR map for closed loop operation. If you build/add a daughtercard the spark firmware can also control boost, waterinjection, cooling fan and a few other custom configurable outputs such as supercharger relay etc.

I agree tho, if you have an EFI honda don't bother, just use turboedit or similar, cause the biggest part of the install is building a decent harness, and the fab work you might need to do to convert your car from a dizzy to coil packs like I did to get a decent ignition setup. Coilpacks aren't mandatory, I just prefer them, alot cheaper/cleaner setup than a dizzy and frees up space for turbo :)

It's definitely put me one step closer to DIY heaven in my books :)

Here is my crx. http://www.msefi.com/viewtopic.php?t=2751 I have been using it for about a year and it is great. I did this before I knew much about uberdata and such. It is a great system! I am currently using the MS extra code with 12x12 closed loop tables and it is much more stable than the regular stuff. I also have used the unreleased MS2 chip and it is pretty cool as well. I will definatly be switching over to the ultra when it is available but it doesn't sound like that will be any time soon. My dad now has it running really strong on his superstock sea-doo XP. It picked up 200 RPM over any carb setup available. So 2 stroke guys it is pretty easy to do without the o2!

gavin is going to be using megasquirt n spark to run a ford DLI system on his 20v turbo 4age in his 91 corolla wagon. the spark system alone is crazy you can use any ignition system with any car.
