The tape, as i can recall, started as a way to protect peoples paint jobs on their almost showish cars on the the drive down to H20. Being volkswagen drivers, you know they had to turn it into a ------- art project. A few other volkswagen drivers saw it, thought it was cool, and decided to decorate cars in tape every time they go down to H20.
