Look @ the size of the ratchet straps. They are the real deal. What a wasted post.

it also looks like it doesn't have a drive train in it, so the car probably weighs like 1500lbs.

sorry to have to explain... but those motorcycle straps, i wouldnt trust them to hold down a 90lbs crack-----. much less a civic shell. I'm in the towing and recovery game, so i got the experience. it would only take one hard brake for that car to come loose and kill someone.

Those aren't motorcycle straps. Those are only an inch wide. Those look like 2 inch 10k lb straps.

No they are not. They look wider because they are hooked to the trailer, wrapped around the tie point on the car, and then back to the frame. Look at the picture a little closer.

I was just hoping that someone on here wasn't stupid enough to do that.

I know, thats the purpose of the post! I was saying hypothetically what if someone said nothing was wrong with that, is that what he was expecting to hear. So he can talk ----! Understand? Hahaha

OMFG, I've got soooo many questions for you. I've always wanted to talk to someone in "the game". Tie down straps are one of my true passions. :-\
