Re: Man's '91 pickup passes the 1M-mile mark
I've heard of some of those older Chevy trucks getting 500k on a fairly regular basis. I wouldn't be surprised, but I'm sure he put a shitload of replacement parts on it to keep it going. :S

Re: Man's '91 pickup passes the 1M-mile mark
My work owns a 2000 chevy 15 pass van with 495,000 miles on it. It is an airport shuttle and does like 300 miles a day when its not broke. They also have afew cabs, 2000 dodge stratus's with like 300,000 on them and they are ready to fall apart. I wonder how many ball joints he has had to do and brake lines. They should give him a brand new chevy, that would be cool....

Re: Man's '91 pickup passes the 1M-mile mark
did you even read the artical?
why would they talk about how many oil changes he did on it if it was a different motor. and also they talked about needing to re thread the oil drain many times from usage |
Re: Man's '91 pickup passes the 1M-mile mark
motor could have been replaced, it's an article about a truck making it 1M miles, not a all original never rebuilt motor making it 1M miles.
it's cool that it got to the 1M mile mark, that's a ---- load of driving. |
