Default Manifold

Hi! I'm a chick trying to add speed to my car. I basically want to be able to stomp a del sol. I have a 94 Toyota Corolla and I want to add a turbo to it. I know the basics of the turbo, I just need to know what kind of manifold I need and I also need to know what kind of engine I have. Thanks

Just drop a 4-AGZE in and you're good to go.

i have to agree with giraffe. As for what kinda engine i would check online or in a tech manual you can make a log style mani easily and cheap. Its cool to see a girl wanting to race or add some speed. Most of the ones down here just drive looks best of luck on the project

WOOOOOT corolla power! You either have a 4a-fe engine or a 7a-fe. the 4a is a 1.6 liter, the 7a is a 1.8 liter. If you want a manifold, go to www.jgstools.com/turbo

That's where I got the kit for my manifold, then I had to weld it all together.

What are you planning on using for fuel management? I used a 12:1 vortech fmu, and it worked fine.

I would offer to sell you my manifold, but its a leaky piece of ----.....

I want to know about your future setup! I'll help u out with whatever, since I've turboed a corolla before.

Rolla Power! Woo Wooooo! You could run a 4a-geezee, but I say that the ol' 4a-fe is up to some serious power. Get tons of fuel into the motor and it will be more forgiving if anything else is, ahem, "poorly engineered".

I almost forgot-
