If you got the money anything is possible, but for the average Joe..... NO!

I think it would be easier to put a DelSol body on an old Bronco frame, but then you would have a 4x4 and not an AWD car like you were looking for.

I would like to see a conversion made to use the CRV tranny and AWD too.

Remember the CRX-squared? ...... mag article in the mid/late 80's (Road&Track maybe) where they used two engines to make it AWD ....... were some of you guys not born yet maybe?

did you know that the CRV is not acually AWD it's 4wd aka realtime 4wd...

CRV 4wd is a viscous coupling differential? it only hooks up the rear when teh front slip...

imho it won't do you any good for hard launches cause your gonna break something it's not strong enough

if you want an awd.. any subaru will do... they are 50/50? even the justy or loyale have 50/50 5spd awd

or buy an old audi 5000 quattro

Well if I had my pick I would go wrx all the way, but my account can't shell out the ~35k for one. Plus I though it would be kinda fun if I made my del sol awd.

What about the accord wagons didn't they have awd, or am I confused with the camry ones?

don't think the camry or accord wagons came awd...

ever notice how high subaru resale values are? freaking 98 impreza 2.5RS is STILL 18 k

damn awd =) cars that came awd were, dsms, subaru's, in the late 80's toyota had a corolla wagon "AWD" just like the civic's "AWD" wagon... all audi's had option for quattro, newer passats came with 4motion, benz with 4matic, bmw wiht thier x badge (ie 330xi) that's all i can remember
