Magic cards?
 

The gf has a boxed set of ten year old 1st edition Magic cards. I know this stupid ---- is worth some money, anybody got a link to a priceguide or something? My Google skills pulled up a bunch of how-to-play FAQs and general dissappointment.

look up those becket mags for cards....i use to get them for my old baseball an basketball cards....that or check on ebay nogger O0

There are retards out there that will pay good money for them. You just have to know where you can find them, the tards that is. Ebay would work too.

SCRYE is the Beckett of gaming cards, and will have your magic cards. Don't know where to find except for big sports card/collectible shops.

a pog that sells for less than a penny can easilly sell for more than 10 bucks back then.. what % profit is that???.. lol

---- i remember middle school pokemon kids would sell and trade cards with a ---- ton of cash to go along with em.. cards selling for up to a hundred bucks a piece.. kids getting jumped for there albums.. kid crying his ass off when a card got bent.. ------- gay

I think most of mine are plastic, except for one bad ass metal one. Anytime and anyplace. That Gold Eliminator Slammer will fetch a premium one week before Pog Wars.. :o

i remember the magic days. lol i found my old cards and just threw away all the commons and only kept the uncommon rare and holo cards. someday they will be worth somethin. its going on like ten years now.

A few cards are worth some bank like Black Lotus, but overall even good 'rare' cards are worth under $8 typically.

yeah some of the cards in the first edition mtg set are worth hundreds of dollars a piece. thats a nice lil chunk of change youre holding onto

I played magic in middle school.
It was Free money and something to do on Thursday nights.

I don't know why the cards are so pricey, it's not like you can legally use them in tournament play, not even type 1.

well depending on the amount/condition/what cards you actually have you could be sitting on ten bucks or 5 grand. just gotta take it to a shop and find out. but look them up first cuz those are some shady mother fuckers.

It's a whole retail box of them, comes with the instruction manual and everything, which claims to be the current rulebook as of November '98. The box is a Magic box, fair condition, and all the cards are in fine to mint condition.

lol its a card game. all card games have tournaments even blackjack... :P and not all magic players are nerds. do you call all poker players nerds? imean theyre raking in the cash here most tournaments for magic are tens of thousands for first place

lol thats true. i myself used to be an avid magic player maybe a year or so after it came out. it was just a fun cardgame. still is, imean if kids are bored at home its better for your mind than playing video games or watching tv all day. helps build strategy skills i guess. though they could be spending money on more important things.... like saving for a car or whatnot.
