I am gonna try the same experiemnt with different oils also. the oils that they use are heavy weight oils for deisels, and low rpm vehicles. as stated....^^^^

I am courious about lightweight oils. (5W, 10W...and so forth)it will have a completly different outcome....(theory)

it would be like putting syrup through gears and putting coke through gears....right?

correct me if im wrong but any oil will foam up if the oil level is up around the gears

like if you overfilled your oil pan and the oil was around the crank it would foam up right?

no, it shouldn't there are anti foaming additives in your oil, I watched a video about it from valvoline in my engine rebuilding class.

I am gonna do my own experiment. I am gonna go to the scrap yard tommorow and see what I can find. things are always cheaper there because you buy it by the weight, not what it is.

humm....

I've used lucas before in my car. All I really got from the article is that the oil could get a little foamy with the lucas ----. Did I read it correctly or am I just drunk?
I went to a wedding tonight and got shitfaced! Woo Hoo, I have a life again!!!!! :P

Steve drank something other than Diet Pepsi? I thought you didn't drink?

I never use any of those additives. I just go the the auto parts store and buy some $1.99/quart ---- and a cheapo filter. I used to run the super expensive full synthetic race car high performance oil, but I grew out of it. That was back when I thought my car was fast N/A.

I don't drink like a normal drinkers, but a wedding is a good enough excuse. I think I had like 4 coors lights and I was having a good time.
