LSD motorsports Clutch install *pics*
 
So last night i decided to put my new 6 puck clutch from lsd and take a few shots:

here's where you take everything apart to make room to get the tranny out

i did a fast flat rate flywheel resurface

im breaking in the clutch right now so im the taxi guy for my family for the next 400 km :'(

on the other side of the shop we where doing a hybrid swap in my buddies 2g ecplise . showing 1g block, 2g head, 1g turbo conversion.

Those clutches don't really require breaking in, nor do anyone do it or can wait for that matter. I tried to break mine in and got mabye 300miles before I beat it, but it was only like 75miles before I burned out and slapped 2nd in front of some gay party. LOL. Looks good though and you probably should have brake cleaned all that crap in there.

Speaking of LSD clutches, do they require a specific step on the fly wheel? Are you guys even resurfacing the flywheel? I know my old act 2600 was very picky on the flywheel step.

Hmm, with the Eclipse engine... I know the 1g block has no crank walk, why are you using the 2g head? so you don't have to really change anything around wiring wise or whatnot?

I figured that too... is there any difference at all between the two? I'm assuming 1g = obd0 and 2g = obd1 ?

well we decided to use the 2g head because it was rebuilt a year ago so its in perfect shape. another deciding point was the wiring with the crank sensor. besides flowing better and the ecu i dont see major differences between them.
