I'd be worried of spraying that satin and not having a satin clear and it getting all fucked up and faded in a couple years. At least with a Rustoleum gloss black you can buff the ---- out of it if it fades or scratches.

Yes water will scratch it, the H20 compound is very abrasive. You should protect it with wax designed for gloss finished cars it, will look like a monkey attacked your car with a stick of butter but at least the 50 dollar paint job will be protected.

You can use Dupont base black paint and a mixture of 2:1 dulling agent in the clear to get the same effects but with a actual UV protected clear coat. THATS WHAT I DID and no fading at all.
