looking to get in the rc market

Re: looking to get in the rc market
me + most of my friends have traxxas with near flawless service records, i've had my rustler since 2003 and i've yet to break anything on it other front caster blocks from driving into a wall, then driving into a far too deep puddle causing electrical problems.
i've also had a stampede, nitro sport/ruster. the nitro flavor will snap rear shock towers on rollover jumps, and on really bad landings from several feet in the air, occasionally taking out one of the rear bearing carriers.
if you go nitro, tmaxx is a long term rc thats still supported by every aftermarket component available

Electrics are great if you're a ture indoor racer but IMO suck for the average person who just wants to rip up the streets. I spent a total of $450 on a brushless setup and a LiPo battery. I had insane power but the battery only lasted 15 minutes ate the most! Then its time to go watch paint dry . And dont come back with the "fuel is more expensive" thing because real batteries and motors are very expensive. And real batteries need care such as chagre and dischage equiptment which can get verry, verry expensive.
Cheap stick packs are ok, but who wants to run cheap batteries through an expensive motor? That would be like a T3/4 turbo on a built B series with a 3 pound wastegate.
