Very true. Most of the work on the old car was done by someone else anyway.

Spinning on dyno rollers only happens to BIG power cars or ones with trashed suspension. I've seen 1500 whp cars on a Mustang with no traction issues, its an irrelevant argument IMO.

I compared my PLX to a couple tailpipe sniffers. Even without a cat their could be up to 1.0 difference.

I've had good luck with one or two of those sniffers, they work well if they are set up right. You just have to account for the fact they lag compared to a forward mounted unit.

Of course the delayed readings, but the fact that they never report the same A/F as my standalone. It would be nice if they reported the same difference, but that is not the case.
JD or Chris, have you used any of those flutes that mount in the tailpipe? Like this. I would consider getting one if they work decent.

question regarding af ratios
it possible for me to mount a narrowband in a nut welded on my exhaust upstream, +12v to the whites, ground the black, and put a low voltage readout voltmeter (0-1v) and read it that way? carbureted doesnt merit a wideband unless making post 600hp in my opinion
