A little something different...

we finally got done my buddy's Banshee and took it down to Philly for some shakedown runs:

This thing runs like a raped date. It just hooks and goes. Pulls way harder than my GSXR 750. Its a 16mm stroked banshee 610cc Cheetah motor, billet cases, drag ported, 45mm carbs, lockout clutch, override trans, extended 10 inches, narrowed front. We're all going to Cecil this Saturday to try and get it dialed in.

Hoping for mid 10's but it only has a 4 speed in it for now so we'll see.

So anyone want to come to Cecil this Saturday? http://www.cecilcountydragway.com/

We went down to the city with Dave from ECATV. Here's the bike he brought:

Its a Banshee motor in a YFZ. And since this is HMT here's his LTR450:

Its a turbo Hayabusa motor with a full drag frame.

That thing looks like a blast to drive.
I was at lebanon valley dragway on saturday and they were running bikes. There was a busa with a t25 that went 8.3@185 and the track was slick/cold.

Wow. That's insane. :o I'm trying to pick up a Banshee right now. I want to trade my bike for it....

Just curious, why have both pipes exit the same side? ???

When they are narrowed with the drag axle and shorter a-arms, they go straight as an arrow and very stable. Before when it was lowered with extended a-arms, it was all over the place becuase of the caster angles and stuff. But now that its setup to go fast its fine. The only thing is we're not running a back brace on the seat like this:

So it really does try and throw you off the bike. The only other thing is they are running full drag override trans. So you just hold it wide open and shift. It really shifts like butter but if you let off of it when its under power you'll blow the trans. So you really do need to know how to ride it if you want it to stay together.

Just for looks. Its all preference on what you like better, single side or one of each.
