Little JYR is scheduled to arrive around Nov. 8 so I thought I would get out its seat and check it out in my car, before it goes in my wifes car.

I didn't wanna skimp at all on the baby seat, especially after one of my good friend wrecked his DC5R. The medical folks said his seat saved him, so I wanted the best for my new little one. I told my wife to search for the best thing out there, and this is what she came up with. $219 shipped is what we paid for it. Slammin deal. I love the recaro baby seat moto. That's the same crib we have but it's cherry wood. Next month I'm buying Zeke a Simpson seat as he's facing foward now and needs a bigger seat. If you need a sling or any of that baby carrying devices you know where to go. 8) Whatever fabric you want, hell find some Bride gradiant cloth and she can make you a sling out of it.

I wanted to get a snap-on tool cart for the changing table thing, but the wife wasn't having it...so I bought it a toolbox instead. Its in the garage waiting tools. I figure 6 years of buying tools, it should have a bitchin' collection by the time its ready to be in the garage. :6

it is illegal to put the baby seat in the front seat.... if the passenger air bag goes off you can kiss your little one bye bye. put it in the middle in the back. that is the safest spot. room looks good though... congrats and i think you are more excited about this than you are letting on, good for you.

Frank's hatch doesn't have a passenger side airbag. But if it does have a back seat then put the little one back there in the middle. But then again you'll have to choose a side as hatches only have two seatbelts in the rear so choose a side. You'll soon see the joys of putting an infant into a car seat in a hatchback and begin to envy those with four doors. That's a major reason why I got my Volvo and the fact that's it's a Tank. Honestly, I only put the recaro in there for just shits and giggles, and to put a baby recaro seat in my bride brix seat. :P
I thought the wideband picture would have been a dead give-away but I guess not. I have the back seats for the civic and I plan to put a reclinable recaro on my side to get into the back seat, for the baby. Primarily, the baby will ride in my wifes SUV, in the middle of her truck.

Buy your baby's things at Costco, it's a lot cheaper. Anyway, you will need more than 4 boxes of wipes ;)

Dude, I went to sams and got my ass a membership. Simply for the wipes and the diapers alone. :6
My wife just got this package of cloth diapers, so were gonna give those a shot too.

I always put my sone in the frontseat turned backwards. It's easier to take car of them like that you don't have to reach behind you or stop if they drop something or start crying. The way I see it is it's less distracting for me and I can pay more attention thus cutting way down on the chance of a crash. Good luck with the child JYR. their worth it they start getting real awesome around the 4yo mark you'll see.

The doctor never got a good ultrasound but kept mouthing they felt it was a boy because blah blah blah. Typical know-it-all-even-if-he-has-no-clue doctor. I was barely 20 and didn't know ----, believed him.

Hey man good luck with the baby and DMC1 is right about 4 years old. Kids are HUGE eye openers and def keep you on your toes now matter the edge. But once they start understanding things it's even more awesome. My son Jaden is the biggest rush I've ever had and it's totally awesome man. Good luck and enjoy no matter what the baby ends up bein.

Frank, we have 2 Recaro seats for my boy. They are brick ---- houses. I will buy 2 more when my daughter is bigger..

Yeah, I loved it when my mom said, Recaro...never heard of that. I told her to research it...she called back a few days later and said, well....all I could find is recaro racing seats. I said, I know...isn't it bad ass. :D

One of the worlds best Seat mfg.'s is gonna hold my kid in place for the next few years. I think its great.

We use reuseable diapers all the time. The only time he gets a disposable is at night or if all the reuseables are in the wash. Saves alot of cash. My wife makes those too! lol.

How in the world do you wash the ---- out of a cloth diaper? Blast it w/the garden hose first before you put it in the wash machine? Its pretty obvious I don't know anything about raising kids.

Good job man. Hopefully the baby comes out flawless. I think it's good that you're excited and are doing the room up all nice for it. It's refreshing to see somebody who's excited to welcome a baby into their family rather than some fat/drunk welfare tramp who pops them out like Pez with a different :8 father every time. We need to populate the world with well raised individuals rather than the offspring of welfare dependent cunts who put the kid on their own at age 4. It seems like you're prepared, so seriously congratulations on the addition to your family, but kiss your personal time goodbye. Same with sleep. IDK if I missed it, but when is the baby coming?

Wife had sensitive skin when she was born, so we are expecting that with the newborn
Going green factor: It takes a diaper 400 years to dispose/break down

We really see no reason not to use them while at home. :-\
