Default Little advice for the ignorant (me)..

Ok, to make this short, my wife had an old '88 Dodge 600 that I dropped a couple hundred bucks into fixing some stuff up on it and so it goes and blows out it's piston rings...(freaking figures). Well, I wasn't gonna rip the block apart on that POS, so I pulled the stock turbocharger out of it (what a waste of a turbo). It appears to be a Garrett T3 with a compressor A/R of .42 and an exhaust A/R of .48. The turbo is in good shape luckily, and I'm trying to figure out what the hell to do with it now.

The wife wants me to sell it to someone because we're poor and need money, in this case, how much should a turbo like this go for? No endplay in the shaft, and it spins freely. It will need a new wastegate though...I wouldn't trust the one that's on there from the looks of it.
Another option I have is finding out if it is worth it to put it on my '89 Nissan Sentra...this is where I need your help. What kind of things should I expect to have to buy/do to the Sentra to get the T3 on there.
The third option is to just hang on to the turbo for a while until I can scrape up enough cash to get another car..but this won't happen until after August when I graduate from WSU. For this one, what kind of car would work well with the T3? I was thinking of getting an older Accord (early 90's)...any specific models I should look for?

I appreciate any help on this.

Honestly, that turbo is garbage.. No offense, this is what you need to do. First clean the turbo real well, then take some good pics and post it on ebay. Sell AS-IS, I will bet you will easily get over 100 bucks for that thing if not more..

can you explain why T3's are garbage should we only use t4's and bigger on our hondas?

That turbo doesnt even have a true T3 Inlet flange on it, chrysler puts the stupid offset 4 rectangular flange on that turbo. 80% of the time those turbos are pretty wore out, and are to small for most apps. Plus, the exhaust housing config aims the downpipe directly towards the block or radiator, since it mounts funny on the 2.2's. You cannot interchange the o2 housings either for that turbo.Their are lots of those turbos in our junkyards, and I dont even bother with them. But I do see them on ebay, and people buy them up.

Ok, thanks for the input. I found a guy that will buy it for $100, so I'll just sell it to him and to hell with Ebay. I thought the inlet on it looked a bit odd, but my brother said there is some conversion kit for these things so ghetto folks can put them on their '88 5.0 GT's. I guess that's what the guy that's buying it plans on doing anyway. I'll just have to stay with my boring 1.6L sentra until I'm out of college and have money to burn on a decent car. If I could only find an SR20DE engine....I'd love to do an engine swap on this thing.

You wanna talk about small turbos, I was at the junk yard and saw a suzuki I think. The turbo looked like 2 doughnuts with half a pringles can in between. I looked at it, turned to my friend and asked him if he thought it would work good on my snow blower, lol. The compressor and turbine sections looked smaller than the blower of a hair drier.
