little accident last night.. shitty lol
 

So, its been awhile since I've been to "the jerk" (the name of our street racing scene) in my red car. So me and my buddy travis were heading to the first track, and ya know.. my car isnt really that fast but I was pushing it pretty hard, about 110-115ish and all of sudden BAM!!!!! all I ------- see is BLACK, and my windshield is black!! hahahaha, my brand new carbon fiber hood let loose, One of my hood pin mounts (yes mild steel) broke right in half, and the other side ripped right through the carbon fiber. the Hood was destroyed, broke the windshield, knocked off my rear view mirror, garage door opener, ---- was flying everywhere!!! There was no warning at all! So I pull over on the freeway,, I wasnt really mad or anything, just a bit shocked and kind of embarressed, But I thought it was pretty funny. So luckly this guy pulls up behinds us with a truck (apparently he ran out of gas) and let me borrow some tools, I took the hood off, and was just going to leave it on the side of the freeway, but I think he took it, LOL, the thing was destroyed. Drove home with no hood. So, looks like I need a new windshield and hood.

I ended up getting the "higher quality" hood pins than my other ones too. Not sure who the carbon fiber hood was made by, I got it from a friend, It was pretty cheap so its not like the end of the world. Kinda sucks because I just threw my stock hood away the other day.

I use to always laugh at people that had this ---- happen to them, and now I'm laughing at myself.. lol

I think the "Rice Gods" spoke that night.... No rice on Jeff's car, so definatly going back with a stock hood ;)

I'm just glad nobody got hurt.. it could have been way worse.

Important thing is that you somehow managed to stop from 115mph without hitting anything.. Ace Ventura style huh?
