Realised when I made director at 30. That if you have the money you dont have the time or peace of mind to spend it. If you have peace of mind and time its hard to have the money. Trying to strike a balance. Doing what I love which is fixing bikes and cars. With some I.T. Consulting on the side. Now I work when the bills need paying. And spend the rest of my time enjoying life with my kids, wife and friends.

work only in summer when not in school. working for PennDOT (Pennsylvania Department of Transportation) as an inspector. Basically i stand around all day and watch other people do work. A little weird at first but i can get use to it. i pay them for what they do and make sure they do it by the specs. it pays 10.62 plus mileage at $0.405 a mile which ends up good for me when i drive the civic.

I work as a Dog Socialization Attendant. I basically keep an eye on dogs in one big *** room while their owners are at work. We started this new thing where we take the dogs to a dog park for the day. I get paid 10 bucks an hour.

I'm 21, and a full time Mechanical Engineering student at the University of Washington. I'm taking summer classes part time as of now and working on the department's Formula SAE team (the "racecar project") because none of the local engineering firms would hire me as an intern... bastards. Although I always feel like there's some ---- I have to do, I have a considerable amount of freetime compared to those working and going to school; aka I can still enjoy my weekends somewhat. That might change when I become fulltime again in September and still have Formula SAE duties. I also don't have much money. I'm able to pay for things with help from my mom (yeah, don't get mad, I know the value of money) and can afford $chool thanks to some money my dad saved up before he passed away. I'm looking for a job that's either close to school, or close to home (seattle vs. everett) with flexible hours though because I really don't have much money after the food and gas costs... kinda sucks not being able to do certain things like fix my windshield so I can go hit the drag strip, but I do enjoy the time I have to myself.

Saturn tech for a large automotive group. the pay is poop considering how hard i work but im just starting so things will get better. but the work will always be there as long as GM ***** up.........besides there are a lot +'s like hammering the ---- out of the new cars str8 off the truck and being the first to drive them and getting to drive all the used cars we buy (h2's ,350z's,s500's)

best part is i get discounts from our honda dealership that we own(where i have a $1200 tab to pay off lol)
