Lil update on the Z
Well I haven't done too much since I got it about 4 weeks ago I think. Bought some lil odds and ends but next weekend I'll buy my suspension(Tokico Illumina shocks and springs, ES complete bushing kit)
But so far just -Konig Rewind 15x7 0 offset -Yoko AVS ES100 225/50r15 -Brand new buddy club seat I've had for almost a year sitting in my garage still in the plastic. It was supposed to be used for the 4dr to replace both front seats but now thats it sold and being picked up this upcoming weekend and the other BC seat is in my hatch I can replace the stock ripped vinyl seat in it now. -Zex Nitrous kit w/ injector amplifier filter -Techno Tuning Toys camber plates -H4 conversion headlights(Z still has sealed beams and these blow complete ass at throwing out any light) -ES N1 canister(it currently has a Supertrapp muffler on right now I'm not very fond of) -S&W 8pt roll bar with option X brace and gussets(to be welded in this week) -Corbeau seat bracket and sliders -Toyota 4 piston calipers(complete bolt on) -Zenki ext. TI lugnut kit with matching valve stems Once I get my finally payment on the 4dr shell I can get my susp, bushing kit, fender flares, front spoiler and 5pt harness. It's nice for a change and not have to worry about a car on having it broken into for being a honda. Younger import guys in my town driving around in their civics and tegs just look at it as if it's just some old 70's muscle car. Well it is but import muscle. 8) Now just finding parts at the pick and pull is just a lil harder. Parts on ebay and other online shops still give me a huge selection of parts to pick from. I found a newer company that makes all of their own parts that are making some Z/datsun parts but have been making AE86 parts for road racing and drifting that are super high quality and great prices. Techno Toy Tuning gets a huge thumbs up from me on the camber plates they make and the custom Konig wheels colors and offsets.
I also found a site that listed all of the factory colors of the S30 Z body style. SInce I'm not a big fan of the Green Metallic color I gonna go with the Green Leaf Metallic color. https://zhome.com/History/ZColorGall...2LeafGreen.jpg |

I paid 600 shipped for the just the rims. just a lil over 1g for rims/tires/lugs/stems.

The Konigs only come in Gunmetal, bronze or a AL color and then either of those colors with a polished lip. The solid colors are only available through Techno Toy Tuning. Everyone else has the polished lips. They only come in 14x7 and 15x7 and no 16's. You can get black if you want to spit out some mad cash and get RS Watanabe's. I spoke to a guy who got the exact same rims with the same specs but from RS Watanabe in Japan but for 2200. These are like the Slipstreams of Watanabe's but made by Konig instead of Rota. lol. The 15's weigh only 13lbs which isn't too bad for a cast rim.

Ive allways wanted one of those but they are allways beat to ---- or realy well taken care of and too expensive. |

nice henry, your projects coming to life, have fun with that, i just got done with my little project, but ---- man your z is looking good, u wernt lieing when u said u got some sick wheels, they fit the car nicely, i want to see pics of everything hooked up and the roll cage in. hope u weld it in soon. have as much fun posable with it -blake :6

Very nice looking. What was wrong with the stock wheels? They didnt look that bad but the Watanabee knockoffs are sweet.

I hated the stock wheels. Not to mention the mud bogger white letter tires that were on it. I found a couple set of RS Watanabe's but either they were too small or too much for a set that were the same size as the Konigs. I need 15's to clear the 4 pistons calipers and 14's won't clear.

More toys came in the past couple of days and got my roll bar welded in...almost. Just need to weld in the rear x brace that goes between the two rear bar coming off the main hoop. My Motorsport Auto Datsun ZG fiberglass fender flares came in. I love how these things look sooo much. I'm just gonna bolt these on for now so I can remove them easier when it gets painted hopefully next spring. After that they'll get riveted on. Next my Tokico Illumina shock spring kit came in yesterday and my ES bushing kit is coming today from what the UPS tracking number said. Buddy Club seat was a pain in the ass to get install since I couldn't use my Corbeau seat bracket I bought for it since it mounted it too high for me and hell I'm only 5'5"! lol.

So far I've spent 4500 on both the car and everything else in the past 2 months. Keep in mind the car only cost me 1500. It's fun buying all this ---- for this car cause I don't have to worry about ---- getting ripped off like if I would be doing this to my hatch. It's not that bad around here but you still have the little fucks to steal the simple stupid ----...i.e intakes, stereos, etc.. I don't have much planned to buy for it after this besides some harnesses and a Nardi steering wheel that I want. |

Car is looking good! No engine shots? The wheels look like new versions of mini lites. Get the suspension and fender flares on there and post more pics :y

I paid 212 shipped for the flares. Nothing is really fancy is special with the engine. Just a normal L28 with a header wrapped in header wrap. It's got a cam too but nothing crazy. Boosting it wasn't even on the plate yet. It's got a rebuilt 2.8 and it's suiting me just fine right now. Maybe just bolt on a l28et manifold and a nice snail later down the road but it runs fine so why ---- with it. Bushings just came today so now I can feel the throat hurting from all the swearing that will be coming this weekend with putting it on. :P
