Lets see your gauge setup

K so many of us boosted kids have a lot of gauges.

Post up how you have them laid out. Here's mine, eventually going to have Oil temp and EGT on the pass side dash for a total of 4 over there.

ok so many of you know that i am going turbo...

So I want a bunch of gauges to monitor everything closely.

I don't want more than 2 gauges on my A-pillar because it makes me feel claustrophobic if that makes any sense. Anyway....I ran out of room so i drilled out my pass. side dash and put some gauges there.

I am going to swap out the voltmeter on the a-pillar with a boost gauge...and have a total of 4 gauges in the pass. side dash: Water Temp, Oil Temp, Oil Pressure, and Exhaust Gas Temp.

Lemme know what you think....teh suck ass? tis teh rizzice? so-so? Master?

Pretty simple, i just have the 2 gauge a pillar pod... its actually for a 99 eclipse but i made it fit pretty close with a heat gun... nobody makes anything for a 3g accord. The cluster background and surround i took out and painted it white, it came out pretty good

is your car an auto, or do you just have an auto cluster?

actually they are tenzo R. Match my Tenzo R black rally seats (nice seats). The pillar pod is ok and i didnt feel like hacking up my dash or getting all fancy or innovative with the mounting so... oh well

Re: Lets see your gauge setup

i think the best setup would be laid out so you are not looking left and then to the passanger side.

that is a lot of neck twisting that should be concentrated on the road.

he's talking about your gauge cluster. It's an auto cluster.

All the gauges that I need to keep an eye on are in the pillar pod. The ones on the pass side I don't need to be glancing at all the time

I fiberglassed the stock crx console, moved the cd player up one slot and removed the coin tray and fiberglass a triple gauge panel (flat) in that area making it all flushed it all, painted it black. Looks ------- good.

Running oil pressure / boost / water temp

I'll also be mounting my wideband in the flat are below those 3 gauges, will look good, gonna make a cover for it to for parking and overnights and ----

A-pillar ---- turns me off

How accurate are these guages? I was thinking of getting some, pretty cool for it's price.

Thanks guys for the comments, about the only thing on my car that looks decent. I had This setup awhile ago before my car was jacked.

I like the black face look better then i did with the white face and a huge tach. I may buy another shift light and mount that somewere but dunno.

When i was spraying. :S

I dunno my OBX gauge works fine. Worse then megan racing. I have 4 of them sitting on my workbench and 3 obx gauges aswell. I wish i would have never bought the OBX stuff. Really they are just gauges and you really only need the 1 important gauge ;D

Here's the one I threw together for my brother. The gauges are angled towards the driver, thanks to these Audis that keep showing up at the wreckers.

lol are those AUTO ZONE gauges? :y

4Aaron GE 11-05-2005 02:19 PM

Re: Lets see your gauge setup

What, mine? Two are VDO (the boost one has since been swapped for an autometer), and #3 is an autometer.

I'm pretty sure we don't have Autozone up here in Canuckistan. They have thier own line of gaues?
