03/28 : Student protest in Whittier area students from Pioneer, California and Whittier high schools walked out of classes to protest the proposed federal immigration bill March 27, 2006. The protestors put up the Mexican flag over the American flag flying upside down at Montebello High.

I predict this stunt will be the nail in the coffin of any guest-worker/amnesty plan on the table in Washington. The image of the American flag subsumed to another and turned upside down on American soil is already ------ing on Internet forums and via e-mail. Pass this along to every American citizen in your address books and to every representative in the state and federal government. If you choose to remain uninvolved do not be amazed when you no longer have a nation to call your own nor anything you have worked for left since it will be "redistributed" to the activists while you are so peacefully staying out of the "fray". Check history, it is full of nations/empires that disappeared when its citizens no longer held their core beliefs and values. One person CAN make a difference. The stupid thing is that those beans couldn't even tell you why they're raising the flag. They couldn't tell you what exactly the government is talking about doing, and they aren't interested in figuring it out either. Pretty much mexicans work on a "that's my peoples, aye" or a "I'm mexican foo" mentality. That's the only thing that makes sense to them. After all, how smart do you have to be to know that mowing lawns for $3 an hour isn't going to get you ---- in life?

Of course just because these Mexicans are acting this way, doesn't mean every single one is like that, but that's just wrong, those kids could be charged with treason or at least defasing or improperly handling the Flag....

Sad thing is I guarantee you 90% of those kids, don't even speak spanish, but still are so proud.

Facts is,
1) The US economy DOES need the immigrant worker, but NOT as much as they make it out to be. We can get over it.
2) I understand the need to flee your country because of need, and I understand the sense of pride you might have, Just like a Texan might wave its flag, a New Yorker will adore it's city, and Floridiand love Oranges :y, but it's always second to being america.
3) It is a drain to our economy more than the help it brings in the workforce, because proper laws or legislations are not in place. If people could come with working visas, help out and leave, its one thing, But coming in illegally is another one.
4) THIS IS NOT ONLY ABOUT MEXICANS..........In all of the marches, there where Illegal Haitians, Irish, Russian, Germans, Dominicans, Colombians, Italians, Chinese, well Asians, everything.....Yes the Mexicans are the biggest group, but if you close the South border, they'll find a way to come in from Canada. Why?...Because we are the Best country in the World for now, the Superpower that will eventually fall to someone else, it's History, and more........
5) This problem will NEVER end......Period....Even if you start cold blooding killing people in the border, which will never happen, it would turn the whole world against us, People will find a way of getting in. What you can do is allow it, tax it, and control it. Make people accounted for, make them pay fines and taxes, get something out of it.

I've seen a lot of Mencia's stand up. He has said so many times that he wouldn't make the jokes he does, unless he made them about everybody. He's a good guy, something that I think America needs. Same with Lamponelli.

If you go on that then no one is native to anywhere but Africa, since we all know that's where man-kind started. However I would argue that most people believe that since the Native American's settled here first it's really their land.

But since they didn't believe that land could be owned whites decided to claim it for their own.

Native Americans got here before anyone else did, so they were the natives of the land, at least part of it.

But yeah right now I'm more worried about the $500 a month I spend on gas, than some people taking the agricultural and building jobs. It doesn't affect me directly, gas prices do....

Did you not understand one thing I said? You said that we took the land from the "Indians" who also owned Mexico. No idiot, we didn't. That's why I threw in the Eskimo comment. If you think we owe America to the Mexican "Indians" the we owe it to all. The Mexican tribes and the American tribes were different.
