hello friends,

as some of you know I've been planning a little tour of the westside for a few months now and things are really looking up as far as the possibility of this thing actually happening. I'm trying to piece together the schedule and I need some help from the hmt homies I'll be visiting. I need to know who I can stay with and for how long:
doc, how many days can I stay at your place? I'll be leaving when we go for the socal meet on the 19th, or possibly earlier if there is alot of socal and washington support, so how many days from friday back can I sleep on your floor/in your garage?
Socal people: who can house me and for how many days? I'll be in need of housing from th 19th until sometime before the 25th, depending on how many washington people can house me.
Washington people: same as the socal people, who's floors can I sleep on and for how long.
I can't remember if it was RacerX or racerex who said they lived in salt lake and I could stay at their crib, but either way I need to salt lake guy to verify monday the 28th for me to stay there.
onyx: is tuesday the 29th of june cool for me to be sleeping on your floor?
mary: sometime in the week of the 21st to the 25th will you have a place I can camp out at? if now I'll be doing a straight shot from LA to the camp grounds. if you're going to be at the lake from the 25th to the 27th maybe you, pat,and I can caravan over to the camp grounds.

this should be fun, get back to me on this my hmt homies.

lol.. kyle, you can crash at my place for a night of your choice, you even get a bed. i'm in federal way.. only like 30 mins from jeff.

Sorry K-Dawg, had you been on schedule for your earlier plans, you could have slobered on my couch that I'm getting rid of, but since you're tardy, I'll be at my mom's in a week, and uh, I don't know how she would feel about some strange kid from 2000 miles away, sleeping on her couch. Looks like it's a striaght shot from cali to washington. Ask Pat if you can camp out there, he lives in Longview, only half hour from the oregon border. ;)

thanks for all the support I'm getting. stealth previously said I could stay at his crib for a day, so I'm putting him down for a day. I might be able to stay at my cousin's dad's house on one of the days so I need at least one more person to volunteer a place, and I can stay at up to 6 more places.

you live in denver don't you street kings? I will be in denver on the 30th, I'll probably be staying at my aunt's house then, but I'll try to visit you.

josh, not sure what you meant there, but I only counted on staying at your place one day, I don't want to move in with anyone on my tour.

I would say you could crash on the couch at my house, ecpet I sleep on the couch, and it's not even my house. BTW we're having a meet on the 19th? is there a post about this?

Here's the deal with this tour:

I'll be leaving next week sometime, the day depends on how many days I'll be camping out at doc's so if anyone has his phone number that would greatly help me. I'll be going to socal on the 19th, it's about 3 hours from doc's so if I leave early in the morning I can get to LA around 10 or so. I'll be leaving socal on the 22nd in route to seattle area, it's a 17 and a half hour drive so I'll be leaving LA early in the morning and getting to seattle late at night, or I could leave in the evening and drive through the night with lots of coffee and probably some jalepenos because I'm gangsta like that. the "local" meet is from the 25th to the 27th at lake goodwin. I'll be leaving the lake monday morning in route for saltlake if I can get in contact with the guy that lives there, if not I'll be camping out in my car somewhere in salt lake. I'll leave for fort collins on the 29th early in the morning and meet up with onyx. after that I'll be at my aunt's house then back home. I live in Las Cruces, NM for those who don't know.

I'm looking at 4500 miles of driving, that's just between locations, so in locations it will be more, I figure about $400 in gas money, I'm buying a truck for the trip since there's no way my car will make it and that's $4200, so my LS/VTEC turbo project will be pushed back a little bit.

The wife works Friday through Monday across the nation, so most weekends is just me and littlemode. It probably won't be the most exciting place, but I will do all I can for the homies. -Steve 909-702-7771

if you havent buy the truck yet, ever think of renting a car instead buying one? you get a newer car, it cost less, and less chance of getting problme wiht the car. :-X

let see you`re have the car for about two weeks.
a medium sized car is about 40 bucks a day, a week is about 240, with full coverage(so you can beat the ---- out of it) adds like 120, so 350 a week is about it. two weeks is like 700 or so. 8)
BTW make sure you are asking for unlimited millege and NEVER tell them you are leaving the state.
trust me it won`t go wrong,(did i mention i work with car rental? 8))

ya, I looked into car rental and found out I'm not 25 so I can't rent one. with the rental it will be $700 flushed, with te truck it's $4200 on a vehicle I can keep and drive while I tear teh civic apart. plus I can haul civic parts in the truck.

Kyle, even though I'm only 24, partying ended long ago. When I'm not working, being a dad, or shipping oil lines, I'm working on my car. Partying doesn't play a role in my schedule. ;)
