Default Kteller opinions?

I dunno about kteller-- they've got decent products for decent prices, but i've had a few problems with them. The LCA's I ordered took almost 2 months to come in because of backorder and ---- (which i didn't know about till 3 wks after i ordered them) and I just ordered their kteller catback exhaust. It actually came on time this time, but i mean for $230 without a muffler and just mild steel, they could have at least cleaned it up a little and packaged it better, not that its too big of a deal. But the other thing was that I asked him what flange came on the exhaust-- i gave him the product i ordered exactly-- and he told me 2 bolt, so i orded a 2 bolt (to match the dp) and another 2 bolt for the exhaust side. Exhaust arrives-- its 3 bolt. WTF? They make the product in house, how hard would have it been to just look at the thing and tell me what flange? Now I gotta order another one and wait another week for them to ship it fecking ground shipping from florida to new york. **** *****. you can't get flanges at napa or something can you? ANyway, I'm gonna throw it out there that Kteller is a lame *** company . Maybe i'm just unlucky. what do you think?

I thought Kteller was awesome, I bought a mild steel 3"mandrel exhaust setup from him and didn't have any problems. Obvisously it wasn't just a "bolt up" installation but the quality and sevice I was treated with definately would make me go back to buy from him again.

My $240 worth of mandrel bent mild steel arrived as aluminum.

It took me a week of calling on and off to get a human to speak to - the contact number on the invoice was for some other guy's shop and my emails went unanswered. At first the guy I spoke to was confused why I wanted an RMA and my order in mild steel - the aluminum is more expensive that the mild steel I was charged for. HELLO, MCFLY?? Little problem with lack of the correct welder..

WHEN I finally got a hold of somebody, they were friendly if slightly confused, and I got my RMA. It was just a clusterfuck and I got the idea they were badly unorganized. To do it over again, I'd try to get an account with a piping supplier and undercut the KTeller piping prices.

Uhm, hey? Anyone know where to get two piece (metal) pullies? Diameters 2.5" to 5" pls. I need to make them wide enough by putting a spacer in the center to use them as dies in a true mandrel bender.

I think I'll be coming out with a DIY exhaust kit a month or so.
Everyone seems to love Kteller, but I think they are way overpriced.

good luck with that. overpriced? haha wait until you have to pay for a mandrel bender.

or are you gonna cut up 180 bends... bah.
any cheaper and will not make acceptable profit for your time.

dont you think if cheaper was easily done someone wouldnt be doing it right now?
