Not really new to the site, but I FAIL cause I did not post ------- pictures...Per Jizzmaster, I am merely a ---- stain n00b. Hopefully this will help that...lol.....Anyway, comments welcome. Stock d16z6, Greddy kit, e manage (yeah yeah), ebay intercooler piping, ebay intercooler, Type RS BOV, Underground Racing coilovers, Rota Slips, cheap OBxR greddy evo2 knockoff muffler w crush bent 2.5", exedy stage 2 organic... Mods coming soon - Crome, Arps, Walbro, upping to 10-11 psi, stealthmode return line, LSD Stage 3 clutch...tuned locally here in Jax, Fl. I think that is it? Peep the intercooler piping, thats pretty gangster. Its too clean. Drive to the nearest pond, and toss some mud in that engine bay. At least enough to dull down the shine of the IC pipes.

I wanted to have a sleeper look, but the intercooler piping ------- didnt fit right, so I had to hack my effing bumper to make it fit lol. One day in the near future, I will be making the piping and i.c black w a new bumper, less hacked up, so i can be a sleeper. All the p aint int he world wont make its current state "sleeper" with those pipes sticking out..lol You all like the junkyard numbers on the valve cover still? Had this setup 40,000 miles, STILL got the junkyeard numbers haha... I actually added the i.c after 1 year of non intercooled goodness, that was great cause I was ------- ricers up all day! SLEEPER FTMFW. and yes, ac ftw FA SHO.... |

that ic piping is terrible, there is enough room behind the bumper to hide it completely and not protrude like that

velocity trends sucks. If Im not mistakes I think they only tune vafc's and emanages and other piece of crap piggy backs. Stage six will do pretty good dyno tuning but they will charge you an arm and a couple legs to do it. Good to see another fellow jacksonville member on here. What part of town are you in? Maybe we can hang sometime.

I would never pay $192847455 for Mase to tune my car but I think Stage 6 has tuners in house that probably do decent work. I'm sure it's still way overpriced. Btw, we need to get some kind of NE Florida/HMT meet together some time. I know sdrawkcab is in daytona and philstubbs in in st. augustine and theres 3 of us in this forum from Jax. I know Im tired of going to "honda-tech" style meets around town and looking at peoples overpriced crap that was all installed by performance shops around town like stage six.

For the most part but that would be the point of having an "HMT corner" so we can have some real cars that were worked on by the people who own them. Im down if anybody else wants to. I have work till 8:30-9:00 but I'll come out after if anybody else wants to. Scott, give me a call if your going out there.

there are some fast cars up there now. its a lot better than the old BJ's days. i went up there one time and stayed for about 20min. i couldnt take it anymore. i go to sonic once a month or so now. gotta promote. lol. i hardly do any local business though

im so going to get flamed for this next comment....I normally roll up to sonics with my wifes xB cause we are in a Scion car club and those guys always want to roll upt o Sonics ugh....But yes, SOnics has so many boosted cars it is ridiculous... so you all know Tracey and Lee and Speedfab? He made some of the piping for my original setup. They just tuned my boy Waynes teggy, its pretty nice SPoolin perf mani, I thinkk GSR, its white with a JDM front end conversion? I was thinkig about going to him, but money is very very tight.... ANy of you guys know Adam w the red EG hatchy si? He used to have a green coupe that was boosted? ANYWAY yes I am a faggot for getting a Greddy kit, I knew nothing about anything, still dont, and I needed my car to be a daily driver and reliable w a/c. So it was the easiest and cheapest solution and ran great, still does.... But my clutch took a dump, so that is why I am taking this opportunity to up my boost. Phil - VERY interested in a street tune from you...can you PM me deatails? Will be within the next 2-3 weeks TOPS......or you can come see me at Sonics...i will be parked w all the SKYONS....lol...(flame away, whatever...) PS MASE Is a DYNO QUEEN.... |
