take something (like carb cleaner) that is more volatile than gasoline and spray it everywhere a vacuum leak could be (intake to head, tb to intake, trace all vacuum lines with it, etc... you will know when you find the leak (if you have one) as the motor will rev a little higher than normal (it is enough that it is obvious).
