the ones who say rap is gay or that rap has gone downhill prob dont listen to it as much or at all. Hip hop is better but there ARE some pretty good rap artist. Like everything else times change people come and go. Its not always going to be like it WAS there has to be new flavor here and there. If your refering to TUPAC or BIGGIE they are gone let it go. I can think of a number of rappers that is pretty good and is on my top list. The rap in the 80's started it all but come on those were the 8o's. Its kinda like nintendo when we all played super mario bros. It was good back then it started it all and the games now aren't like that but can u actually sit there and play that like you did back then? No you play the new stuff just like you listen to the new ----.

i used to be all in to the rap thing ..my opinion it has died out it takes no talent but at the same time it does because if you make your own beats and lyrics then you have talent but like P diddy he used lyrics from other songs for most of his songs...but its like country also its just talking about different thing with a different style beat ...but rock still takes it all because you have to have talent to sing and play drums ect. its not like talking really fast with music in the back gound
