that is entirely way to much.

one guy tried to charge me 120 to make two crush bends and weld them together and i told him to stick it in his rear and keep the pipes haha

Re: just need to vent

no it was definetely gas, because the shop put a "T" on the fuel line and not on the FPR. so it was gas for sure. but i already fixed that as well as the leak at the fuel rail this morning.

but there is still a major idle problem. the car jumps up and down from 1k to 1500 as if i were pressing hard on the gas real quick and letting go real quick over and over. i checked for vac leaks and found none.

my pcv setup is as follows:

gutted stock pcv connected to a hose which runs to a saab turbo T. which has one hose that connects to a pcv valve then to intake mani. and the other end of the saab T is hooked up to the catch can, and the catch can to the pre-turbo intake.

my turbo setup:

stock D16y7 (with stock y7 intake mani)
custom log mani
T3 52/48
tuner toys 450's
chipped P06 runnin uberdata untuned
mishimoto fmic
hks ssq bov

im thinkin it might be the iacv, but i have the conversion harness to go from OBD2a->OBD1, so i dont see why i would still have to convert to the 2 wire iacv. if i do, i will go to the junkyard and pick up a plug, and swap on a z6 throttle body i have real quick. or i will just swap the sensors if they are interchangeable to see if it works.

if anyone has any ideas or is local to Lakewood cali, and wants ta help reply or hit me up 562 225 2432

you piece of ----, ur jus right there and you didn't show up at socal meet? i think its ur iacv also. mine did that til i changed it... thought it was a vac leak at first to but nope. pull off ur upper ic pipe off the throttle body and stick ur finger over the hole inside. if the idle drops then its ur iacv.

Re: just need to vent

sorry i didnt even hear about the meet cuz i was on vacation for a while. so i take off the pipe to the tb, turn the car on and plug the whole with my finger. is it good for the engin to turn on the car without the ic pipes to the tb, cuz then wouldnt i be running like extremely rich with the 450's and barely any air commin through the intake mani?

and what years and what models had the 2 wire iacv. i know the OBD1's did but all models? and i also know that the y8 manuals i think have the 2 wire? but what about OBD0's cuz my junkyard doesnt have many OBD1's or OBD2 y8's.
