Exhaust and traction bars are done...off to find a 'shift boot'

Are you supposed to brake in most lsd by doing figuare eights at like 15mph then 25mph? i remeber see this for kazz lsd. here is a link to brake in most lsd. http://www.diffsonline.com/techinfo/...break%20in.pdf

That's for clutch type LSD.

Finished the shift boot, HMT style. Pics will be up tomorrow, but for a hint, I got the parts at Menards.

cover plate for the shift cable, just traced the old bracket onto some scrap.

installed with caulking, the console & floor vents help hold it down.

Drove it tonight with the traction bars in...kicks ass now. Must have been worn radius rod bushings. Lovin the LSD, WOT through every corner. Might need more power though.

what did you do for traction bars? i've been throwing around ideas for making them, but it seems like everyone just buys bars.

ah ok, you defenatly have done your research. the new ones are actually allot easier to deal with! last couple Ive taking apart didn't have any issues with screws being stripped, or the washers being installed wrong like the old ones. also the the casting are alot more cleaner then the old ones!
