I can see going with mac instead of snap-on. Going auto parts store brand versus Craftsman is not the same thing. I have been in a pinch and needed to buy something at Checker, and yes it breaks more often than the craftsman. |

before i bought my craftsman socket set (just a set of sockets) i broke two autozone tool sets that cost me 49.99 a pic, havent broken ---- eversince i bought the craftsman for $20 at the flea market two and a half years ago
rather buy the right ---- for a lil more the first time around |
