it cost me 179.26 and comes with stand, was going to go harbor fright flux for like 150 but that one has 10% duty cycle and 70 amps this one is 20% @ 90 now i can fab my own ----, making exhaust for my civic next week,, it will pay for itself in a couple of weeks

looks like you got a good deal. does craftsman replace everything they make if it breaks? i know they do that with tools.

i think so, i broke a socket that i bought from the flea markt and it was like 40 years old and sears replaced it for free with no recipt, i could have saved a little bit with the harbor fright but would have paid to build a cart so i gess its all the same

i've worked at sears for 2 years now..
craftsmen will only warrenty HAND tools, not every tool. Sockets and wrenchs they don't care about, if you bring them in you get a new one easy as that.. but they changed the rules no longer are they warrenty'in hammers or tape measures

Advance Auto has a line of tools called "AmPro" that have a lifetime warrantee, atleast a lot of them do. If their hand tools have the same warrantee of Craftsman, then what's the point of buying Craftsman if you can get the same warrantee on a cheaper product.

those ampro sockets are a piece of ----. ive broken quite a few before i gave in and went to sears and bought craftsman instead.
