Homes on the west coast dont sell anymore. the market is dead. There are thousands of empty new homes in vegas that have bein sitting forover 6+months just for refrence. 90 percent of California is the same. Some areas of Nor Cal you can get a 1500 sq ft home for under 250k and its only goin down.


Good deal cant beat your monthly payment around 600 Im guessing. Congrats

Yeah, thats nice...here in NJ the prices have finally stabilized but the market is still outrageous. Just closed on my first house a month ago.

I guess you must be ballin' cause a person's first house is not the "mansion" that they retire in. I'm sure Davcivic learned a lot on that purchase and would do a couple of things different on the next home purchase.

It's all about the learning process!!

Good deal on the house, I know those aren't Tampa prices you must be North like say Ocala or something. Watch those trees, Next hurricane comes through will have you cryin'.

Thanks, yeah it is small but it is a lot better than an appartment, and with the money I'll save on gas, and the time, almost 4 hours, that it takes me to get to work I can work over time and pay the house. and it is my own place. oh yeah the payment $549 :6....I thought, might as well do it, before I ---- up my credit.

Plans do include washing the damn roof of course ;), and also sod/grass.

This will be the smallest house I've ever lived in, my parents have always had huge homes, their house right now is pretty big around 3800sq ft, 5 rooms 3 baths etc etc.....but I don't need a big house, It's just me.

The garage is 14x22......pretty big, but you are right the backyard looks like a nice place to setup a work area.

true...it is in the Leesburg area,(actually Lady Lake) so yes close to ocala, 40 min south maybe, but only 40 min from North Orlando, not bad. It is my first home, why go for the big house and fail miserably, go with the small one, build equity an move out. It's all good.

Oh and Hurricane insurance with only a $500 deductible :y :y :8....and water/rain damage insurance.....I like the trees, but no way in hell I would stay there during a storm. I'll stay with the parents if I need to..

That house in CT would get around $210k Looks like a nice little home.

I'd say they'd charge around 140k for that house around these parts, depending on where it's located. Housing and such around here is relatively cheap.

i'm a realtor in Washington and the market is going pretty crazy around here but not as crazy as Ca. you can still find homes for 85-100k if you don't mind living in the ghetto but you can get a smaller home in a decent area for around 120K.
