I'm trying to get my girlfriend to learn how to drive stick in my Prelude with the lightweight flywheel, but she won't.

I learned in a '94 Celica ST in a parking lot. Stalled twice, dicked around for 30 minutes, and drove myself home. First time I ever drove. Took to it like a fish in water .

85 f150 4spd, impossible to stall even though you dont even use 1st gear, I wraped it around a tree when I was only 15 :1 the weather was really shitty that day though.

The first manual trans I ever drove on the street was our old 69 Chevy 1/2 ton. Manual steering and brakes with an inline 6 and a 4 speed.

Driving a manual trans vehicle really isn't that hard to do. I swore ehn I was younger that I would never be able to drive one.

Every car I've ever owned was a stick. People bitches about it on hills and in traffic.... I don't see a problem. You get used to it and don't even think about it after a while.
