OK, most of you people know that lame *** TV show, extreme home makeover....BLAH anyways, they are making over a hosue like 3miles away from where I work. So like the whole town of Boardman, Ohio is going ------- nuts over it, 100's of poeple standing in front of this house and peoples yards to watch, and blah balh blah TY this, balh blah, if I see that ****** i'll run him over!

Back to the reason Im pissed...They are making over this guys house becasue someone in his family wrote a letter saying how his wife died when theyre new born was only a few months old, and this and that. Dont get me wrong its sad. Well they are making this dudes house over...well bluntly put, built him a brand new ------ house, foundation up. So all the press is all voer this, in the newspaper, tv, radio, balh blah blah. and a local bank decided to PAY OFF THE MORTAGE TO THE HOUSE!!!!

Now...this show is run, producted and owned by ABC. Now you thnk for one second that they give two ***** about this poor man and his past... ---- no, they are just concerned with making money and ratings. They are exploiting this poor guys misfortune sooo much, I mean, how ignorant are people not to realize this?!?!? That bank who paid off all that mortage, doesnt care at all, they had a chance on a national level to advertise and to make themsleves look caring and good. You NEVER NEVER NEVER see this kind of pulicity and attention when the United Way comes into towns and build houses for people who AUCTUALLTY need them!!! Nor do they get that kind of funding from banks, local businesses and natinal television corporations! It just sickens me to see how much of greedy *** mother ******* our counrty really is. Its all about money these days, money and whats good for tv.

Sad that you just realized how America works. PS. It's always been that way. I don't like it either. They came to Florida also a few months back and everyone was talking about it.

If it was happening to me, I would also play it off, the guy is getting a new house for FREE, not even his mortgage. Who cares if they make money out of it as long as I get all that ----.

I agree with you, being the richest nation in the world, or looking like it, we should help the poor and less fortunate, but then where do you draw the line.

There's a hell of a lot of losers and lowlifes that would just take the money and run. Not to put anyone down, but have you seen how a lot of the Native Americans lived a few years back. The government would give them everything they need, they still get a lot of benefits because we killed them and took their land, and they just didn't want to better themselves. Now they own casinos That's how America works, even if it's shitty when you really look at it, but if it would change, maybe it wouldn't work.
