Junkyards kick ***
Did an all-day junkyard-athon with 4 of my buddies on Sat.
The lowdown:
1. Intake manifold (MPFI here I come) (91 civic i think) w/resistor box and throttle cable. No distro yet
2. ECU for MPFI.
3. Seat. YAY a place to sit!
4. '86 left rear caliper. I realized it will work on my rear-right. weird eh?
5. Parking brake. No more parking in gear!
6. 90-91 gauge custer with tach. Hello ebay
7. Headlight. Mine get watery inside
8. Passenger side mirror. Why the ---- did hardly ANY ef's come with one....so gay...
9. Last but not least, a nice little gash in my arm. About 1cm long by 1cm deep. It was a combo deal with the tetanus shot I had to get the following day.
Grand total: Parts $125 + tetanus shot $25
Edit: my buddy got a RED TOP 4age with 100k miles for $120

Re:Junkyards kick ***
Yeah, it hurt pretty bad. Seeing all the blood and thinking for a few minutes I would have to cut my junkyard visit short was worse though. (2.5hr drive). It was more of an 'Aww....----!!' than an 'OH ----!'
I ended up getting a band-aid and I cut part of my t-shirt off and tied it around that. It looked hella gay, but it put enough pressure on it to keep it from bleeding and kept the band-aid in place.
Yeah, im 100% American, but I cut my arm on a Japanese car, thus I have to measure the laceration in metric units.
