Junkyard Love!!
So i went to the junyard today to see what fun ---- there is. They have had this CRV motor there for about 2 years and every time i'm there i ask how much they want. It started at $500,then $800 and now they want $200 but i could probably get it for $150 (can.) what are the advantages of this motor....B20Z2. they don't know anything about it there. What tranny works with this??

lots of torque, any b series tranny will bolt up to it.

monolithic cylinder wall design.. you crack one from overboost then they all bite the dust.
Decent motor for n/a.. very similar to the b18b1 (uses the same damn head except the cams are different). |

the junkyards down here suck, there is rarely any newer cars and all the wetbacks usually strip the cars of anything worthwhile

There alot of junkyards in our area. Probably in London which is 15min-25min from spoon fed.
Spoon Which yard. I wouldlove to go CRVtec but I want some oilpan to ground clearance. I've gotten a price for 350 CAN for a LS motor Still not bad. Especially if I can just get the block. |

I just picked up both rear trailing arms off a teg for $40.
