I think mike forgot to mention the problem, which was the return fitting on the turbo. Bolts were too small, and the holes in the fittings are of course going to be too small for the correct size bolt.

true, but at the same time, if you bought a complete oil line kit, why should you have to buy stuff...small point to be made. I think all-in-all the constant roadblock one oil line kit has been has just become too much of a huge pain in the ass.

3 block fittings, 1 feed line fitting, 1 return fitting, and two bolts later...we finally get a complete oil line set...i can understand the frustration.

yes it does say to go to 13 lb-ft...i was shocked really when it broke sooner, cause I usually tighten the ---- outta those things.

motor is a gsr block/b16 head and a t3/t04e sized similarly to an sc61. It's a garrett too, not some chinese ching chong ----.

yea i had the same problem with the oil return fitting.. the bolts were to small and i had to drill out the fitting to have it fit the new bigger bolts.. but i didnt think such a small mod would make a bunch of guys who make turbo kits from junk yards mad.. i got the t3 kit from TT not stealth.. but i had the same problems

yea maybe thats why i am mad. my shits not ------ rigged from a junkyard. also yea something wasnt right about the fittings. and when one broke. i tried another. and then another. well finally i was sent the correct one and it worked. like i said. i cant say enough good things about the customer service from tunertoys. but stealthmode on the other hand. thats what i was mainly bitching about. i know ---- breaks. obviously something was wrong with the fittings if 3 broke in a row. fook and i even said they must have gotten a bad batch. we said that before i even e-mailed tunertoys.

you guys can bash me all you want. it doesnt make me sad. you can bash my setup all you want. it doesnt make me sad. its my weekend car that prolly costs more than 90 percent of your guys daily drivers that you struggle to pay for.

and for the guys that say i ordered the wrong kit. would you like a picture of the paypal receipt and all the paperwork the oil line it came with. i ordered a t3 kit.

now if some companies changed some stuff on their turbo. you would think that stealthmode would change his business to meet the requirments. nope instead he would rather still sell ---- that doesnt even fit the new ones. his website doesnt even have the option for the newer style t3's.

anyways go ahead and flame away. and have fun

you cant look at 3 different fittings, the oil inlet on your turbo, and know they are different?

then keep breaking off the wrong ones in it?

Someone please lock this thing cause this guy keeps getting more stupid ever time he posts and Steve already clarrified everything. Damn Craig and his messup! To those that are actually using a torque wrench on these. Stop. Give it to someone and have them crack it over your head. :S--> :X

This 88irapekids fool is clearly a retard with no mechanical ability, plain and simple.

My grandmother could install a stealthmode kid with no problems. Even if she was sent the incorrect block fitting and it snapped, she wouldn't be STUPID enough to do it 2 more times :1

I was gonna keep ignoring this thread but most of ya'll are retarded. bolts on oil return flange, if the supplied ones dont work used some honda 12mm bolts, thats all I ever used on t3 turbos, and for the fool who use torque specs to tighten fittings, is not really smart. tighten the bolt with a regular wrench, until its tight with a little wrist action so you dont break anything. I brokie a lot of ---- using a click type torque wrench that require low torque numbers 25ft or below, but only once and I learn my lesson, for example valve cover studs, dont use the requred torque specs just use a little wrist action.
in closing slealthmode is good in my book, I got his parts on my car now, and tighten the ---- out of those fittings and did not break them.

I really think people like this should be killed, if only to stop the ------ of their genes. Anyways, about the whole your CRX costs more than everyone's DD? Family daily driver cost us a bit more than you have in your CRX, trust me. And even then, why brag about how much you spend. But sure, we all spend less on our setups, but we (A) don't break fittings, and (B) Go faster than you can dream about for less $$ and most of us do it on pretty reliable setups (CoughHotrexCough). You might as well leave this site, because you pissed off a lot of people with your ignorance.

Here's customer service for you. Blow me. The first and last thing I ever heard from you was through PM on March 29. Note you said nothing about a broken block fitting, that's probably why I didn't send you out another one. :S

Nobody needs a paypal reciept to see that your turbo has a 1/4 inlet thread size and there is no kit listed for a 1/4 inlet thread size. Therefore, you didn't double check your dimensions like it says to. Read on to see where you admit this.

With every T3 since Christopher Columbus was made with a 1/8 thread size, I have had 3 people with the same situation as you. It's not like even half of the new turbos are being made with this dumb sizing issue, only a few. I'm working on putting the option for these 3 people on my site, but more often then not (as you would know) customers don't read what the letters say. They just order the T3 kit. One of these people was Stan when he was at my house and we went to homedepot with $3 in change in our pockets. The other guy went and bought the $3 of parts locally, he had them that day, and then he *remembered* to contact me after they were purchased so I could paypal him. Your problem is that you never went to buy them, and never contacted me afterwords. Instead you broke 3 bad block fittings, never said ---- to me about any of them, and now I'm the big bad wolf.

He'd still be at home depot picking up drain flange bolts, except he'd have to pay for them. :-\

I used the kit no problems, volumeking333 used it no problems, darksol 2005 used the kit no problems, pretty much the whole tc crew has used stealthmode oil lines trouble free its good ----

Re: JUnkMOde Your oil lines SUCK!!!!!!!!!!!

I've got over 1000 oil line kits from here to the Netherlands. I'd be pissed if 3 block fittings broke too. I'm not actually the happiest camper at the fire knowing I've sent out block fittings that aren't exactly what they are supposed to be, but my customer service doesn't have anything to do with broken block fittings (because you never even told me) or you not contacting me and telling me that you needed a different thread size.

Bambrose just ordered an IHI oil feedline this week. Let me know if you find a M10x1.5 fitting listed on my site as any part a kit. You won't. He knew what his turbo was and told me the fitting size he needed. :o ::)
