Re: junk american car rant
you're an idiot.
there are millions of saturns with hundreds of thousands of miles on them. at some point in time it wasn't taken care of or its a fluke.
it was probably abused by your wife before you met her or the previous owner.
my grandpa has a 71 chevy truck with about 300k miles on it with the orginal motor. a couple of years ago i replaced the orginal alternator...
don't be a *** put a 5 dollar bearing in it. unless you are too stuipd to do that and your specialty is putting huge wings on slow cars

wow...i cant believe that i just head two people say that kias are good. i worked at a kia/ford/toyota/scion dealership over the summer, at the time i left there, we had a kia rondo in there with 15k on it getting a new engine because it grenaded its self for no reason. there was another rondo in there with 30k on it with the same problem. also a kia spectra with about 35k on it getting an engine. this was all at one time. shortly before that there was a 60k mile rio getting a new engine. we had a customer come back 40 miles after purchasing a brand new spectra...the ac didn't work. there was a hole in the condenser, so we ordered another one from kia...the new one we ordered had the same exact problem. the techs there could do a rio transmission in an hour and a half because they have done it so many times. we usually had a rio transmission a week to do. yep...that is a quality car..

At work we have a customer with an f150 4.6 with well over 300k on it the only thing thats had to be replaced is the pcm. but he takes care of it. All cars break and have problems some just more than others. Hyundais are the ---- though and uber reliable. they break too at some point as well.

Case in point, my '03 is300 has 80k and the original break pads, rotors, ect. The build quality is by far superior to any caddilac of the same year....hate to say it, but most american cars are ----. Still have a hard on for my 89 toronado, but I will never go back to a gm after owning 4 gm cars that were about as reliable as an SSAC mani.
Planned obsolescence, look it up.
One thing to think about, Toyota has, in recent times, rivaled that of Gm in sales, revenue, ect. There are reports that some of the newer toyota models have had some quality control problems as of late....
Read these books: (if any of you read books) "Internal Combustion" and "All Consuming Images".., They are a good read.

your gay car uses the same brake pads as everyother. bad comparison.
you're just a dumbass thats why your cars aren't reliable. lemme guess you haven't touched your is300 and it still works like it should. amazing concept
