well guys i got my motor together finally, got her in and started her up. besides a oil leak its running great, just needs a valve adjustment which will be happening on sat. as soon as i can afford the IC bov and manifold it will be boosted. and yes guys i will make 400whp just incase josh doesnt.
and for those interested in the setup up...

gsr block/head
weisco pistons(.20 over)
scat rods
STOCK sleeves
stock head
arp head/main studs.
new oem gaskets
polished crank
acl bearings

turbo kit:
sc61
mini ram (hotsex style...if he EVER gets it done!!!fucker!)
custom piping by me (3" dp and 2.5" IC)
tial wastegate/bov
jrc 8" FMIC
3" kteller
rc 660cc injectors/motorla 2.5bar
and some crome pro tuned by chris

goals are high 300s to low 400 whp on no more than 18psi, and maybe a 50 shot just for fun. total to biuld the motor with machine work and parts, was about 1200 bux. i assembled it. turbo kit will be about 1000 bux. so for 2200 bux i will hopefully have 400whp. will keep you guys updated when the turbo kit goes on and some dyno sheets of course! HURRY UP JOSH im waiting.....

Plenty of people make over 400 on stock sleeves, but how many of them shave .20 off the sleeves before they do it? What was the point of the overbore?

(Oh, and I hope video tape it when you burn hotrex's ass. The video will be classic.) :y

well seeing as i just got laid off, and no longer have access to my tig, i am patintly waiting for my own unit to arrive in the mail, as soon as it does, or i can find a tig to use, your mani will be done.

so whered thi soil leak come from... dave was telling me you didnt even want to admit it.??

projekteg said the same thing about stock sleeves, and sure enough with in months he vracked his sleeves, but that just goes with the super tuners track record, i mean who blows up 5 sets of pistons in a month :o

i hope you throw a better tune on it than he did. :P

When did kevin ---- up 5 sets of pistons in a month? I know of 1 set he fucked up while I was still in town. -that was over about a year and a half.

i think this is so they are perfectly round. according to h-t if you throw new pistons in a old block with slightly rounded sleeves from wear then you will get a lot of blow by

apparently you missed the biweekly posts of him roaching piston after piston.
honestly after seeign the ---- hes blown up, i dont see how anyone could feel comfortable running one of his tunes.

but anyways frank, you wont have to worry about roaching parts, as you wont be making remotely enough hp to do so :P

nah, that block he built was the one i had in my gsr and i roasted all the ringlands,

it needed a lil attention.

but .20 over on stock sleeves and looking for high teens boost may spell disaster.

as I said, i know of 1 motor he fried. I believe that was due to a fucked up injecotor but im not mistaken. he also posted about a friends car that was running a something fucked up, he told the guy to wait till the a.m. (because it was like 4am and it was time for some shuteye) before ------- with it, the guy went outside took the car for a rip and blew it up. that was #2.

i know my tune by kevin was pretty dam good. i just ordered another ecu from him to run crome on my new car.

lol, you're dumber than you look. i've gone through a total of 7 pistons and one sleeve there buddy ;) and of the over 50 motors i've tuned, mines the only one i've ever blow or that has ever blown after i touched it. i'm very agressive on my own motors because i don't care. don't be mad because i make more in 45 minutes tuning a car than you do in the 5+ hours it takes you to make one of your shitty manifolds :-*

kevin the bottom line is, you toted that you could make big power on a stock sleeved block, and you failed, now your going all motor.

your tune owned 7 pistons and 1 sleeve.

don't worry about what i do. i've made more power and tuned tons of cars that make more power than you'll ever make. hell, i bet i run quicker et's with my all motor set up then you'll ever run with any one of your hack job of a builds.
