well guys i got my motor together finally, got her in and started her up. besides a oil leak its running great, just needs a valve adjustment which will be happening on sat. as soon as i can afford the IC bov and manifold it will be boosted. and yes guys i will make 400whp just incase josh doesnt.
and for those interested in the setup up... gsr block/head weisco pistons(.20 over) scat rods STOCK sleeves stock head arp head/main studs. new oem gaskets polished crank acl bearings turbo kit: sc61 mini ram (hotsex style...if he EVER gets it done!!!fucker!) custom piping by me (3" dp and 2.5" IC) tial wastegate/bov jrc 8" FMIC 3" kteller rc 660cc injectors/motorla 2.5bar and some crome pro tuned by chris goals are high 300s to low 400 whp on no more than 18psi, and maybe a 50 shot just for fun. total to biuld the motor with machine work and parts, was about 1200 bux. i assembled it. turbo kit will be about 1000 bux. so for 2200 bux i will hopefully have 400whp. will keep you guys updated when the turbo kit goes on and some dyno sheets of course! HURRY UP JOSH im waiting..... |

Plenty of people make over 400 on stock sleeves, but how many of them shave .20 off the sleeves before they do it? What was the point of the overbore?
(Oh, and I hope video tape it when you burn hotrex's ass. The video will be classic.) :y |
